It's 2020. Here are the 22 best PREMIUM games I have played on Android over the last few years.

These are my top picks on Android so far. Your Mileage May Vary. My highly recommended/favorites are in BOLD. Play my Top 5 (and/or Top 9) if you haven't by now. There is something there for every one.

    • Ticket to Earth (Three-way tie for my favorite/best game on Android. There is depth in this game and a simple pick up to play design)
    • Battle Chasers (Three way tie for favorite game on Android. This is a FULL BLOWN RPG)
    • Space Marshals 2 (Three-way tie for best game on Android. This game right here is the bee's knees for a mobile game)
    • Neon Chrome (This is a roguelite game where you can grow really strong and steamroll by end of your play time.)
    • Grimvalor (Like a Dark Souls, but for mobile. You have to recover your souls when you die as well)
    • Battleheart 1 (The first of this type of game I played on Android. Was able to grind and steamroll by the end)
    • Battleheart Legacy (Battleheart in a mobile APRG format)
    • RedCon (I liked this. You have little guys who man different parts of your fort to target the enemy fort and parts, like taking out their engine room to slow weapon charging.)
    • Reaper (This was an interesting game I played on my morning commute years back. Nice story and depth with simple arcade action made it easy to play one-handed on my smaller phone at the time)

    • JYDGE (Neon Chrome is the better game overall. This seems like the prototype for Neon Chrome)

    • Magium (awaiting new chapters but I caught up. This is a book more than game)

    • Portal Knights (This was a decent mobile port which shines on high end hardware but lacking the last few PC updates. Also has local MP for 4 people)

    • Robotek (Decent enough game but got super boring towards the end)

    • Stardew Valley (Decent initially but got super dry near the end)

    • Battleheart 2 (The first was better in my opinion. The 2nd is missing something. The battles felt...boring)

    • 10000000 (A decent puzzle game to play one handed on the train with the goal of grinding your way out)

    • Beastie Bay (Pokemon clone with a city building aspect

    • Blackmoor 1 (Decent platformer with co-op multiplayer and a good selection of fighters)

    • Blackmoor 2 (An improvement to the first one)

    • Smashing The Battle (I was trying to solve the itch from Honkai Impact 3. I wish that game was one payment and done.)

    • Icey (An interesting little game with a decent enough story and gameplay)

    • Only One (a nice little arcade game with some decent depth and challenge)

I am open to more PREMIUM suggestions as well. I spent time in F2P games but tired of the BS and adds.

EDIT: I will add links and categories soon when I get home from work.

[REQUEST] Any good equivalent of StepMania / osu!mania?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 03:03 AM PST

I'm looking for a free game that is similar to StepMania or osu!mania. Bonus if it has latency calibration and big library of maps. I've looked on Cytus and Deemo already.

Kiss of War by Tap 4 Fun ads and my intense hatred for them

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 02:37 AM PST

I hate these ads with such a passion that I'm posting about it on a forum whose rules I may be breaking doing so (sorry).

They're insulting to begin with, as if everyone playing mobile and needing those 30 minutes production boosts are horny losers, but they have absolutely nothing to do with the game they are promoting.

I hate you, Tap 4 Fun marketing fucks.

Is there a way I can tell Google to stop sending me ads by them?

Games that are fun to play with a gamepad?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 03:15 AM PST

I recently got a gamepad and had tons of fun using it while playing Soul Knight and Mega Man Zero on a GBA Emulator on my phone. I'm looking for other games I could try out playing with the gamepad, better if they were free.

    Gorogoa is fantastic.

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 06:18 AM PST

I just beat this recently and holy cow what a game.

On top of just looking beautiful, it's exceptionally well made too. Puzzles that are challenging, but never overly so, and constantly evolving while still having a constant "language". I'm not really sure what message it was trying to convey but it honestly doesn't really matter. I highly suggest it to anyone who loves puzzle games.

    2. Are there any shooters with a story mode?

[REQUEST] Grindy, F2P RPG with no steep paywall.

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 08:06 PM PST

Looking for an enjoyable grind that won't require any monetary investment so long as the player is willing to grind, but the grind can't be astronomically steep.

Free TD game using licensed character?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 12:54 AM PST

My wife is insane! Ever since they removed the TD game mode in Mobile Legends, she has been suffering. I asked her why not just get a different/better/real TD game and she says she likes using the Mobile Legends heroes. Does anyone have a solution? I looked for a ML based, stand-alone game and a Marvel Comics TD game, no dice. Does anyone know of a version using a licensed IP or just plays like the game mode from Mobile Legends? Sorry I can't describe the game, I never tried it.

Valleys Between finally out on android! (and currently on sale!)

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 12:19 AM PST

I've seen this game on twitter some time ago when it was first released on iOS, found the idea behind the game quite interesting, but it wasn't available for android; today, while checking the play store, I've found it on the sales section and it was an instabuy for me.

The game is really cheap right now and it has no aditional purchases, it's a zen puzzler with beautiful visuals - I'm still trying it out, but I like what I've seen so far maybe it's worth to check it out if you like this kind of game.

    Match 3 rpg games

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 07:16 PM PST

looking for a good match 3 rpg game where you have a team or character but looking for one with decent graphics and animations so it feels rewarding to play. Most of them are dodgy and have a little flash attack at a still image.

    Anyone can recommend one?

[REQUEST] Online classic Battleship board game, or a board game collection that contains Battleship.

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 06:54 PM PST

Looking to play Battleship online with a friend, but most of the ones I see have lots of extra mechanics/ships. Does anyone know of one that's just regular old Battleship that I can play online?

[REQUEST]Mobile games that have good storylines?

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 06:51 PM PST

Hello. Hope you all are doing good. I am looking for any mobile game with a good storyline, preferably something that would take a few hours or longer as well, such as Life is Strange Mobile, Republique, and Cats are Liquid. Game category doesnt really matter much to me either. Thanks for any suggestions! Edit: I have an S8 so i think I'll be able to run most games
