Onmyoji: The Card Game is set for a soft launch in late 2020

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 10:41 PM PDT

Originally launched way back in 2018, Onmyoji is yet another fantasy RPG that is making its way to mobile. Its spin-off was a former release named Onmyoji Arena, and a prequel is currently on its way. The upcoming release is named Onmyoji: The Card Game and is set for a soft launch by late 2020.

The upcoming release will watch players as they dive into Shinkiro, land, and home of the Yokai, and they will get to play a card game known as Hyakabun. As expected, due to the fact that it's a spin-off, the upcoming card game will carry its art style from the initial RPG game. This is inspired by a Japanese folklore.

As of now, only selected countries that will have access to the soft launch. You can check more about this news here

Why are so many games stuck at 16:9?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 06:59 AM PDT

I've been playing Downwell and Part-Time UFO recently (both great, highly recommended). However, both are stuck at 16:9. They're playable, but it does look worse to me.

All of my other apps seem to run on devices with any aspect ratio without issue. Now, I know that games are more complex than the average app, but why is it so difficult for a game to respond to the device's aspect ratio? Does a dev need to make a separate version for 16:9, 21:9, etc.?

Does Danganronpa 2 perform strange for anyone else?

    Posted: 05 Sep 2020 10:21 AM PDT

I got the game today and, at least during the intro, menus are smooth, but the game's noticeably dropping frames during gameplay. It's pretty noticeable too, since I'm pretty sure it goes below 20, which is just ridiculous.

It's my third time playing this game and I know this is not how it's supposed to work. I can't imagine it getting any better during the trials and I'm not willing to play the first few hours to find out by myself.

If anyone has played the game and can solve my doubts, it'd be much appreciated.

Edit: I'm playing on a Mi Mix 2, so there's no way hardware's the issue here.

Any TD fans here? Can you recommend a less well known TD? Especially if it's similar to Gemcraft?

Currently i play GBGW the most followed by random pokemon roms. I also have/played crashlands, KOTOR, guardian tales, brawl stars. Was huge into durango when it had its run. So im looking for a RPG, customizable character, graphics do not matter.

Question about a few racing games.

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 01:06 PM PDT

    Hi guys,
Is it worth to buy the full version of Horizon Chase? I just tried it and it is good but all games are good at the start, right?
Also when it comes to Hot Wheels series ID or Infinite Loop?

Basically, I am in a mood for a racing game (NO ASPHALT or NEED FOR SPEED). Need something that can be on my phone and I can play when I have 10 mins to kill?

    Thanks.

P.S. Unfortunately GRID Auto Sport is not supported on my phone. Huawei p30 lite.

    Expensive premium games.

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 01:37 PM PDT

So I noticed that there's quite a price gap between a game that's sold on Steam and a game sold on the Play Store. And it's usually higher, sometimes much higher on Play Store. Got any knowledge about this?

[REQUEST] Looking for a 2D zombie game

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 06:29 PM PDT

Most android zombie games are a little too full of crafting and building camps and such for my tastes, except when they're 3D, and my phone cant handle most 3D zombie games. Wanted something with free movement as opposed to Turn based or strategy. Needs to be free and visually appealing graphics would be nice, something sprite based maybe.
