[Request] Hero Collector without the Gacha

    Posted: 19 Apr 2020 08:33 PM PDT

I'm looking for something of the fantasy genre. Preferably non-chibi units. Gameplay-wise, maybe something that favors mixing and matching certain characters and their skills (synergy). Doesn't matter if it's turnbased or real-time combat.

King's Raid and Granchase are games that I've played that have brought a close experience to this. In King's Raid you can basically just buy the heroes you want and Grandchase gives away Selector Tickets like nothing.

    Thank you!

    2D Battle Royale Games

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 12:18 PM PDT

Anyone know of a good one without ads?

I tried Bullet League and while it was fun the massive amount of ads just sucked out all my desire to play. I'm looking for something similar but without ads for sure.

Best controller\gamepad for cheap or moderate prices? (Request)

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 10:25 AM PDT

I have a Bluetooth mouse that works great for games like isometric RPGs and such, but I've always wanted a controller\gamepad for my phone. Any recommendations? I have a PS3 controller, could that work? Or Xbox 360? I'd like(prefer) a controller that actually connects physically to the phone instead of using one that doesn't such as a console controller... Any help is appreciated!

    Platformers recommendation please

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 08:32 AM PDT

    Hello,

I have recently found myself loving platformers a lot.

Absolutely enjoyed playing Catbird and dandara over the last few days.

Can you please recommend some more good platformers, old or new both are fine . Good game mechanics, art and music on a platformers somehow made the experience surreal for me on the above two games. I am open to both free and paid game though I absolutely abhor P2W aspects and unskippable ads.

    Thanks

[REQUEST]Multiplayer PvP game with a friend

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 09:47 AM PDT

I usually play co-op pvp games with a good friend. We've enjoyed and played PUBG, Mobile Legends, Brawl Stars etc. However the games have gotten dull after a while and we're looking for some new multiplayer games to play. Looking for games that: You can party up and play with friends online While we generally enjoy PvP more, if there's a interesting PvE one i would like to hear about it A game which we don't need to play for long extended periods of time at a single go. ( A 45 minute match is okay, but having to sit for 1 hour in a match is a little awkward) Preferably battle based

    Thanks!

Should I get the Razer Phone 2?

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 01:25 PM PDT

I've been trying to decide between getting the Oneplus 6t reinfurburished for $420 CAD (297USD) or the Razer Phone 2 brand new for $500 CAD (353USD). I don't care too much about getting a reinfurburshed phone but I'm just curios which is a better buy.

Dawn of Zombies OR Last Day on Earth?

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 09:31 AM PDT

Was seeing if people had any experience with these 2 games. I'm in the mood for a zombie, Diablo-type game, with the top-down/isometric view. Saw these two and was wondering which one was better.

    Upcoming Games

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 08:52 AM PDT

Hey everyone. Quick question. Im seeking info about upcoming mobile games similar to mobile royale, lords mobile, warhammer chaos and conquest, game of war, etc.

Im not even really sure what to call these games. Everything I try to use to refer to them is used to describe many games that are nothing like these.

Any idea where I could look for info?

Can't find a previously installed game, help!

    Posted: 19 Apr 2020 06:15 PM PDT

So a while ago I downloaded this card game which I have been really wanting to play on my new phone, however I can't find it in my library of games. It may have been deleted but hopefully someone knows the name. So, I know this is strange, I'm going to describe game and just HOPE that I'm lucky enough to have someone come across the post that knows the game I'm talking about. So it's a game where you have a bunch of cards and I think you have to get to the end of the deck without dying or just last as long as possible (can't remember). There was 8 cards on screen at a time. The cards ranged from monsters, which upon tapping on will make you lose an amount of health depending on the monster, ability cards which could do certain things like giving you a free card, food cards which would give you energy (I THINK in the form of carrots???) Because if you run out of energy you would lose health upon using ANY card, and money cards which will give you gems/coins (can't remember, will just refer to as "currency" from now on) that you can use to generate more cards on the screen (for example if I click on 6 out of the 8 cards on-screen, I can click on this 9th card which doesn't go away to fill the screen up with more cards at the cost of currency, any leftover currency I keep at the end of the game which I can use to buy new cards).

This game was tonnes of fun and I don't know what happened to it. If even the tiniest thing rings a bell and you may or may not know this game just reply the name! Thanks everyone!

I know this is probably really strange but I can't find this game for love nor money and really want to play it, I'm pretty much 100 percent sure it's on Android, but if the game you are thinking of is on IOS, please say it anyways.

[Request] Anime fantasy games with unique characters and gameplay

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 05:05 AM PDT

I'm looking for a game with a bunch of characters I can unlock, each with their unique gameplay. It can be any genre: TD, RTS, Turn-Based, MMO, MOBA, Hack n' Slash, FPS, etc. An anime artstyle in a fantasy setting would be great. (Extra plus points if the game has good looking male characters! :D )

    Games I've played:

    • Sdorica - I really like how there isn't a useless character and how important setting up different kinds of teams are for synergy. (I like games that do this, similar to Autochess games)

    • King's Raid - Loved the artstyle. Every character is just interesting to me.

    • Vainglory, Arena of Valor, Mobile Legends - MOBAs are perfect because they always have new characters with gameplay you have to master. PvP and real-time strategy also make them my favorite genre.

    • Eclipse Isle - Exactly what I'm looking for and what I'm currently playing.

    • Guardian Tales - Also currently playing. Best game I've played in awhile. Checks a lot of my requirements. I like how I can play as multiple units.

    • Tiny Guardians

    • Skullgirls

    • Shop Heroes, Gods of Olympus - I occasionally have an itch for base-building/decorating games and these games scratch that itch for me. They also have characters to unlock and play as.

    • Ragnarok M - Doesn't really have characters to unlock... but there are fun classes each with their distinct look and set of skills. I also am just obsessed with Bards/Dancers in RPGs.

    • Dragon Nest M

There's also this upcoming game called Genshin Impact I'm looking very forward to it cause it seems to have everything I'm looking for.

Thank you for reading! I look forward to your suggestions. ♡

Looking for an old rpg rogue like platform er game which had a female villain

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 04:10 AM PDT

As the title of the thread suggests, looking for a rogue like rpg platform er wherein your stuck in a tower of a female Countess / villain and you've to die again & again to gain upgrades, pixel like graphics.

Forgetting the name, as far as I remember it's a premium or one time in app purchase title.

Game design mechanics for simple mobile game

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 02:36 AM PDT

Game design mechanics for simple mobile game

Hello everyone! I have no experience by making games, I would take someone else to do it in Unity.

I want to have a mobile game with question by character and two possible answers, maybe three. That is the core mechanics. These answers are affecting few other factors.

Now, I am thinking about mechanics how I should implement it, so I wanted to ask you guys, which game design mechanics mechanics would you prefer?

These are 3 cases with mobile screens. Small black lines are answers, one big black line is question.

1st case: Image of person asking is blue square, and you are answering by swooping it left or right, left for left answer, right for right answer

2nd case is like a chat. Blue circle is image of person asking, and you tap on the one or two answers to pick it

3rd is big person asking, and in front of him over body are two buttons for two possible answers, you need to tap which one you want, similar to middle.

4th is not on the picture, but I was thinking also about character on lower left or right, and question cloud on the opposite lower side, and your answer above it.

I want to achieve ease of use with one hand, so it will be in portrait mode, and I do not want them to curve their thumbs on the lower parts of the smartphone because that is not ease of use. So, what do you think is best? Which one would you prefer?
