    Best narrative focused games?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 10:58 AM PST

Just finished Oxenfree. Loved it. For a casual gamer like me, it was perfect. The game focused on the narrative and character development over the puzzle aspect. This was a very pleasing experience to me over other adventure games like 'The Inner World', 'Machinarium' etc. Their puzzles were a little more challenging, plus the lack of dialogues put me off. So suggest me more games like Oxenfree.

    Games for casual playing

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 03:17 AM PST

    Question.

I've really got into Stardew Valley recently, I love that I can pick it up and play it for 2 mins or 22mins just as easily.

Are there any other games that are either similar in tone or games that are pretty deep and full filling but that can be played now and again?

In 2020, what's the choice to go with for an Android emulator on Windows (or Linux)?

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 11:18 PM PST

I've been using Nox for a while now, works fine, however, I always have to do some modifications (ie: replace launcher, facebook lite and other bloatware, block some telemetry and so on).

My biggest issue with Nox is that at first, it's decent to play on, but I notice the size of the image it creates gets significantly larger over time (Starts ~700MB, at the moment at ~5GB) with only two games installed.

They have a "cleanup" feature now, but I was never successful in having it actual work, it mostly just hangs at a random percentage and then I'm forced to reset everything.

I've heard MEMu offers better GPU performance, but at the same time I've heard that some antivirus software do not like it (a false positive, I assume).

So, what's everyone's choice for Android Emulation on either Windows or Linux in 2020?

Is there a new contender I haven't heard of? I can't wait for an open source project, I'd support the hell out of it.

    Non-freemium competitive game?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 01:19 AM PST

Hey guys! I've been looking for a non-freemium, competitive game on android for quite a while now but haven't really found one that suits my likings. I'm guessing COD-Mobile is a game that fits the description but I'm looking for a more relaxed and strategy based game, like a CCG for instance. Sadly though, CCGs tend to rely heavily on p2w business models, and that's not something I want for a competitive game. Can you guys recommend any games for me?

Looking for a dungeon 8-bit-style fighting game I used to play - help!

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 10:53 AM PST

I used to play this game a lot back 3 or 4 years ago. The game had you sliding your finger across the screen (like fruit ninja) to make your character dash into enemies with his sword and kill them, but from a top-down perspective. It was in a 8-bit style with cool effects and lighting.

There were also powerups and massive combos you could do if you killed the enemies in a line. You could also change your character's appearance and sword/weapon.

I can't for the life of me remember its name at all so any help is appreicated! I have a feeling it may have been taken off the Play Store but I'm sure i can find an APK from its name.

[Request] Games that will help me with PC gaming.

    Posted: 04 Jan 2020 09:49 AM PST

I know the title sounds a bit contradicting but I'm essentially looking for a game or multiple games that will help my general skills in pc gaming. Either through hand eye coordination or motor skills or anything.

Is there even is anything like that or am I being too ambitious?

If so am I thinking too big or would something like piano titles be effective enough?

Guide button on Xbox controller stopped working

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:03 PM PST

I know Android used to see see the Xbox guide button as a home button and not as a guide button. But a few weeks ago it started working normally. Steam link would actually recognize the button and bring up the overlay and pressing the button didn't take me back to the home screen. Now the guide button doesn't do anything but the other buttons do. Is there something that changed recently in android that could have caused this? The button works fine on PC and i've updated it's firmware.
