| How to remove update notification from samsung oneui phone. Posted: 04 Jan 2020 06:25 AM PST Today, I accidentaly started updating my device because I left auto-update with Wi-Fi on. And since updates just make my phone slower, I decided to stop the update. The problem is, that when I have it paused, a notifcation indicating that my update is paused appears on my notification bar. I tried to postpone the notification but Samsung doesn't allow pernament postpone but only 2 hours. I tried to disable notifications on software update through settings but that option aswell is disabled. So, is there any way to remove this notification? [link] [comments] |
| Interface crashes when activating LTE / 4g Posted: 04 Jan 2020 09:50 AM PST Here's my problem : When activating mobile data, the interface crashes. The phone goes black, then it shows the lock screen, then crash again... I tried updating my rom but it didn't worked. It happen only when I am not connected in wifi. I am on a unofficial Resurrection Remix version (7.0.3 for Samsung s6 zerofltexx, Android 9) found on xda. here the log file I got with matlog I seriously need help, asked for this twice and never got any answers. | Posted: 04 Jan 2020 11:08 AM PST Recently I came home and saw that my oneplus is off and it's hot around 60 to 70 degree. I tried holding the power button, power and volume down almost everything nothing shows up. When I plug it in for charging the phone just heats up no led nothing shows up. | Apps never appearing in recent screen Posted: 04 Jan 2020 12:16 PM PST Some random apps have hidden themselves from my recent apps section, though they are still running and come back where i left them if I launch their icon so they weren't killed. On KitKat with Solo Launcher it was Yelp that hid. Now on Pie and Q with OnePlus Launcher it's eBay. It could be others and I haven't noticed. What could cause this, It prevents me from task switching easily. Maybe I'd also like to abuse it and prevent certain things from showing as used... Always rooted. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 04 Jan 2020 11:29 AM PST My phone's caller id (the number itself) is not showing to people who I call. I'm trying to enable my caller ID but the feature is not showing anymore under my phone app. The option in the phone app under settings > calls > additional settings > caller id is gone. "unknown caller" is what others see when I call them. My number is not showing up on someone else's phone at all when I'm calling. Any idea how o resolve this? [link] [comments] |

Most of the repairing shops hasn't officially opened yet (post new year's celebration?) so I can't get it 'fixed' yet. I tried hard resetting but it didn't work. I heard the new update can do this but I've updated it a long time back so I don't know how that relates. It usually occurs when I play games or do some time consuming work on my phone. Posted: 04 Jan 2020 09:59 AM PST Hello guys, i just wanted to know if it was possible to disable features on android phone such as calls, SMS, all internet trafic excepted 1 or 2 apps, all non vpn trafic even on apps that can use internet and to block all 2g connections? Also is it possible to disable the cameras and the gps without phisiclly touching them? basically what i want to have is a phone that can only communicate via Signal and Wickr, only with 3g or more recent networks that stops all conections as soon as the vpn stops working as i found that it happens quite often nd being able to totally disable the gps, the camera and the mic would be a nice touch thx for your help and sorry for my bad english [link] [comments] |

It only happens when the media is not playing with sound. It comes from the speakers as well as the earphones. It stops once there is no video/any audio files on the screen anymore. My old S10 broke to where the screen is unresponsive in most areas so I'm not able to type/even get past my lockscreen. That's fine, I already filed an insurance claim and have a new S10. But, my question is is there someway to transfer my old photos from the broken, unresponsive phone to my new one? I regrettably didn't set up any sort of cloud/drive to where I can recover my precious photos like that. | PLEASE HELP! - My Facebook Messenger conversations have out of order for weeks now. Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:18 PM PST For the past few weeks, my Messenger conversations have been totally out of order. New unread messages don't show up at the top anymore, and it's making using the app incredibly annoying. It's only like this on my phone, and it doesn't happen when I use the Messenger Lite app. (I want to use the main app because I like dark mode and I want to use it as my default SMS app.) They're in order on my PC. I'm using a OnePlus 7 Pro. I've tried downgrading to Android Pie, I've done factory resets, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app countless times... When I first install the app, they're in order, but after a few minutes they go right back to being out of order. Please help. I've tried so many things. I really like using Messenger as my main messaging app, but this makes it super hard to do so. New messages should arrive at the top of the app. I really don't know why this started happening recently. Oh, and please save your "Just stop using Facebook lol" comments... | OnePlus 6 + Android 10 performance is awful Posted: 03 Jan 2020 10:08 PM PST So, after waiting months, I finally got the chance to upgrade to Android 10/Oxygen OS 10.3.0 and... It's awful! I'm struggling to type this post on my phone because the keyboard has become so laggy. App switching is dreadfully slow, and simple things like swiping away notifications causes a stuttering effect. And the worst thing so far? When I go to unlock my phone using the fingerprint sensor I now have to touch it twice. Once to, I suppose, wake the phone, and then a second time to actually unlock it. Thing is, the only data that's on it are about 500 MB. In the settings it shows that there's 15.4 GB of "Other files", photos, pictures etc are combined only about 70 MB.
