Latest version of Amazon Prime 4.14.3 finally works OK on MiBox S Posted: 16 Nov 2019 02:49 AM PST https://prime-video-android-tv.en.aptoide.com/ I've been using some old 4.11.4 version for ages, yet the latest update seems to work as well, even seeing Ultra HD for some of the content. p.s. I'm not on the Pie beta. [link] [comments]
Shield VS MiBox - Plex streaming speeds? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 06:52 AM PST I've had the MiBox S for a while now, and it works ok, what was curious if the streaming or buffering would be a lot faster on the Nvidia shield. More specifically, fast forwarding or rewinding tends to take a bit of time on the MiBox, even with a good 5ghz ubiquiti wireless setup. I know it's and expensive box for not running Plex server or playing games on, but I'm fine with getting it on sale if it would mean any faster and smoother Plex client (id be hard wiring the shield) [link] [comments]
Accessing Android TV USB HDD remotely Posted: 16 Nov 2019 03:06 AM PST I'm about to move house and looking to re-arrange my media. I currently have an Alfawise H96+ Android box connected to my TV which is running Kodi/Libreelec. Is it possible to remotely transfer files from my home PC to the USB hard drive attached to the Android box? Or am I easier just moving the hard drive and copying the files over physically? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 04:43 AM PST Android for Sony Bravia has a 'TV Guide' for streaming channels but there is no option at all to add any streaming channels so there only think on this guide is Play Movies & TV from Google. Is this a failed app that never got support after it was first released or is there a guide to turn this app into a fully functioning TV Guide? [link] [comments]
