| Posted: 28 Nov 2019 09:30 PM PST I figured this was the best place to go for some suggestions lol. I am a long time apple user and I have ultimately grown bored with them. I want to be able to customize my phone without the jailbreak side of it. I currently have an iPhone 8 plus, but I have been eyeing the note 10 plus for awhile now.. | Bluetooth call audio quality muffled Posted: 29 Nov 2019 09:47 AM PST This issue hasn't come up before until today. I'm using a oneplus 7t pro on stock android 10. When i'm on a phone call ( Whatsapp or google Duo) using airpods pro, the sound quality of the other person sounds really muffled and distant now and my voice doesn't sound good to them. When I switch to speaker mode they sound crystal clear and theres no issue. Also when the call has ended, and I play a video or music on the airpods, it sounds completely fine. I've turned the phone on and off, and forgot the airpods and reconnected. I've also reset the airpods themselves, but this hasn't resolved the issue. Because music and videos sound perfectly fine as usual, I'm assuming the airpods aren't broken, and this must be an issue with the bluetooth and call system. How do I fix this as it's quite annoying when it was working fine the day before? [link] [comments] |

| System update keep stopping. (Issue) Posted: 29 Nov 2019 05:36 AM PST I just bought a brand new LG V30, and tonight, when i got home, I was confronted with the above message whenever i tried to go into any settings. Trying to go into the settings app itself also brought up the message, and I was only able to stay in the settings app for about half a second before getting out the home screen. I read that you should try to go into the app info for System Update, and delete the cache and app data, but when i try to get to that screen the error message pops up. Update: I have tried a factory reset, and I'll see if that fixes the issue, but in the meantime, can anyone shed some light on a possible fix please? Cheers. [link] [comments] |

So as title really, Is anyone having issues with photos backing up to Google Photos? My 4XL is stuck on 'Getting ready to back up' but never actually backs up the most recent. It just sits there on getting ready for ever. I'm only seeing it on my 4XL, not my old 2XL or my wife's 3, and uninstalling updates seems to fix it, It's doing it just he same as always, it backup automatically when I take a new pic, WiFi or data, it makes no difference. I am backing up original quality and I have a Google One sub, not that that should make a difference. Its definitely the latest update of the app as it works just fine if I uninstall any updates. I did see one or two reviews on the play store saying the same thing, but that's the only other mention of it I can find. For Example: Anyone else having this issue? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 29 Nov 2019 11:01 AM PST I have this launcher that installs themes from a whole other app. Each theme is an app. I wanted to make a custom one, so I cracked into the APK file as a Zip file, found all the theme images, and replaced them with images I prefer. Same dimensions, same files, everything, just different colors. My PC said "corrupt Zip File, cannot add files" so I put the files on my phone and did it again from there. Converted to APK, everything seemed successful, but when I click on it to install, it gives me that vague "it just didn't work" error Considering Windows didn't recognize the APK-Zip as editable, then I renamed an ordinary Zip with the same contents as APK didn't work, is there some sort of protection I messed up? Is there a way to properly inject replacement files into an APK? Is there a special app I need to properly recompile an existing APK? I thought APK was just a renamed Zip file but I appear to be mistaken. All my apps/screens reverted to default. All my photos and SMS are gone, and every app when I open it asks me to confirm privacy etc Whatsapp/Contacts I've restored from backup. I thought my SMS backed up automatically but it looks like they didn't (although feel free to give me ideas of where they might be) BUT Still has my google account, still has my wifi password saved etc. If it was a factory reset more stuff would be gone. | Buttons stuck, and I'm in safe mode, help? Posted: 29 Nov 2019 02:05 AM PST My Galaxy s8 samsung got the volume buttons stuck. They are contected. One part is down all the way, while the top part sticks up like I'm constantly holding it down, my phone does and turned back on and is now in SAFE MODE and will not get out no matter how much I reset it. I can't take off the back. I saw a method of which taking a needle and nail clippers or teasers, which I sort of attempted. I had a push pin, a kinda thick one so I'm not sure if it'll work. The push pin didn't. But I'll try a smaller needle tomorrow, I've just about cried my self to sleep. Is there any other ways of taking it out of safe mode? I could live without volume buttons. I am not good at phone repair or messing with that, so trying the "heat up the back and take it off" probably isn't the best option. [link] [comments] |

| Why does my phone say "Roaming Indicator Off" instead of the provider name? Posted: 28 Nov 2019 04:07 PM PST Hi all. I have an unlocked Moto G7 Power I'm using on the Ting 20-for-20 plan. In the banner where the carrier name normally shows, and in the Settings under Mobile Networks as well, it shows "Roaming Indicator Off", instead of showing "Sprint", which I've been told it should show for Ting CDMA. I've done the dialer stuff with the star-pound-72786-pound-star. I even did the same as above with 786 for a factory reset, no dice. Then I did the regular System menu factory reset, same thing. I also did the 4636 menu thing too, and set it to LTE Only. The banner then showed "Sprint", but setting back to "LTE/CDMA/UMTS", or any other setting with CDMA included, changes it back to "Roaming Indicator Off", so something with the CDMA provisioning is off. Yet calling and SMS/MMS works fine, LTE data is fine. Any suggestions? I've already done 2 factory resets, and don't want to do another one. I guess it's something I can deal with as long as everything is working, it's just weird though. [link] [comments] |
