Posted: 13 Nov 2021 07:52 AM PST The Apple tv+ app is disappearing from my Sony A90J tv everytime I turn the tv off and on . Disappearing from the home screen and also from installed apps . I have to enable the app in the Google play store for it to appear again. Enabling the app is also problematic. Anyone else experiencing this? [link] [comments]
Internal speakers still working even when I set speakers to external audio Posted: 13 Nov 2021 06:24 AM PST Hi, I was playing with the settings of my external audio and activated the HDMI control option (it has CEC RHID, but no ARC), with that I can control the volume of my TV from the external sound system, and I can mute the external speaker from the TV remote control. Great. But, now both speakers (internal TV and external system) are both on all the time (with a noticeable delay). I tried turning off the TV speaker in Menu -> Speakers and selecting "External audio system", but that keeps the TV speakers on. If I choose the "TV speakers" option in the same menu, the external speaker is muted as expected. With either option, if I press mute (or lower the volume) both the TV and the external speaker gets muted. I have an HDMI connection from the TV (JVC Android TV) to the external sound system (Onkyo TX-SR507) and a SPDIF cable for 5.1 sound from the TV to the sound system (no ARC on the sound system). Also, the TV is 4K but the sound system is only FullHD, so I need to keep this setup to have 5.1 sound (through SPDIF) and 4K video. Any suggestion other than turning off HDMI control? Thank you! Using android box as a downloader device? Posted: 13 Nov 2021 01:15 AM PST Hi, I'm currently using my pc and phone to download files over night, is it possible to use android box like mi box s for download files constantly without turning on my TV. I'm using ADM in my phone, it works perfectly and I can change download location to my connected USB. I want to connect my USB to it and download everything on that. Is it possible?, does these android boxes designed to keep working when they're not being used? Can I install ADM on them or similar app that supports Torrent download? Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Nov 2021 05:20 AM PST Hi :) My uncle managed to activate talkback somehow and he cant turn it off. He is living in another country and only way i can help him is with videocall, we tried yesterday with no success. I tried to watch some tutorials on youtube , it should be as simple as pressing few buttons but his menu on tv is different. When i click on the gear from the home menu i don't get the menu on the right where accessibility is on the bottom ,instead menu opens on the left on the screen, we tried to search for talkback or accessibility options there but we couldn't find any. Any help would be greatly appreciated Philips android tv , model 43PUS7304/12 probably not updated to latest version [link] [comments]
Wrongful Error Message: «Wi-Fi Is Not Connected» Posted: 13 Nov 2021 05:03 AM PST Hi! I have a Sony Bravia TV that runs on Android TV. Today I've received the error message «Wi-Fi Is Not Connected» every x minutes. The wifi works fine on my phone and the network status test says that the connection on the TV works too. I don't use the smart functions on the TV, but the error messages are very annoying. I assume that this a software and not a hardware issue. I have checked that I have the latest software update. Is there anything I can do about this? [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Nov 2021 08:02 PM PST Amazon Prime was working and was able to navigate and check out various trailers. However, once I selected one and tried to play it I got an infinite loading spinner. After that, was not even able to re-enter Amazon Prime and now get the infinite loading spinner. Naïve googling is useless:
I'll google more tomorrow but this was very anti-climatic when trying to enjoy my brand-new TV. On a related note: is it normal things are this buggy? This is a brand new TV, with the latest update applied. We had a similar annoying problem with Apple TV that required adjusting things in settings + applying updates. So far 50/50 for the most popular apps working (Netflix + HBO worked). We are tech-savvy and its hard for us... I have a hard time imaging how others don't go insane with these types of issues. Laggy Android Smart TV, should i buy a Box? Posted: 13 Nov 2021 02:54 AM PST Basically recently i have bought an Smart TV with Android. TCL 32ES560 HD LED to be precise, i bought it because it had many positive reviews and it was within my budget. Right after i got to TV menus i noticed huge lag, not sure how to say it but the menus would be really slow, unresponsive and laggy, even freezing from time to time. I immediately turned off some settings which should apparently make your TV faster (according to Youtube videos), deleted pre-loaded apps and cleared cache, turned off some fast booting etc... Hoping this would fix the problem, but it didn't. I signed into my Google account and downloaded my ISP's SmartTV app (finding the app in PlayStore was hell due to huge lag). Once the App was downloaded i logged in and wanted to give it a try. Of course right after i logged in i couldn't even do anything, to get to the channel list it would take me 10-20 seconds. Once i clicked on a channel it would take a couple of seconds for sound to start playing but the picture was frozen for about 20-40 seconds at least. After that the TV was slowly coming back to life but the lag was still here. Channel picture was freezing every 2-3 seconds (unwatchable) while sound was just playing fine in the background. I tried everything i could, switching to ABR, to CBR, making bitrate lowest as possible but nothing helped. I'm on 100mbps WIRED if that helps. So i'm asking you, what is the problem here? Is it my TV, app or something else? I'm assuming its TV since it was kinda cheap and it doesn't really have a good processor. Should i return it? Should i buy a box? A stick? If yes, what kind of box/stick? I would really appreciate any recommendations (Budget: ~200€ max). Thanks. [link] [comments]

How to download and install IPTV APK on Android? Posted: 13 Nov 2021 01:44 AM PST Here's a guide to installing IPTV on An Android device. For a smooth experience, it's important to know how to use APk or APk MOD files once you download them on your device.APK files are the original files of Android applications, similar to Windows.exe files. APK refers to Android Package Kit (APK for short). It is the package file format used by the Android operating system to distribute and install mobile applications. In four simple steps, using iptvxtrixTV as an example, I'll show you how to use IPTV APK on your phone after you've finished downloading. How to use IPTVXtrixtv on an Android device? Step 1: Download the Xtrix IPTV apk on your deviceYou can download the corresponding version of APK directly from the Xtrix IPTV website. If you download the apk on a computer, make sure to move it to your android device. Note: Please download and install the correct IPTV Apk version to your device from the link: https://iptvxtrixtv.com/download-main/
Please input the activation code in your Apk to open the channels. No test code yet? iptvxtrixTV offers a 3-day free trial service. Step 2: Allow Third-Party apps on your device. To install the iptvxtrixTV apk, you must make sure that third-party apps are currently enabled as an installation source. Just Go to Menu > Settings > Security > and check Unknown Sources to allow your phone to install apps from sources other than the Google Play Store. On Android 8.0 Oreo, rather than check a global setting to allow installation from unknown sources, you will be prompted to allow your browser or file manager to install APKs the first time you attempt to do so. Step 3: Goto Your File manager or browser locationYou will now need to locate the Xtrix IPTV apk file you just downloaded. Step 4: EnjoyiptvxtrixTV is now installed on your device. Enjoy! Are APK Files Safe?Disregard any rumors or a site that says otherwise. APK files are generally as safe as a .exe windows pc file hence, the most important thing to note is that you should always download it from trusted sites. You generally do not have anything to worry about as we have provided some of the safest sites in our Apk download mirrors below. Thank you for reading this tutorial. [link] [comments] |
