Auto-Battle Games such as MyBrute & Chaos Fighters

Is there any other existing games that are active such as Chaos Fighters, Chaos Heroes?

Currently I am playing Chaos Fighters 3 which I discovered after looking for games similar to the old browser game MyBrute. The fact that I am spending bucks even though it's half dead with only a handful of people (whales/high levels mostly) who are active means I really enjoy the genre.

It would be great if there are other similar games that are existing.

EDIT: After googling the genre, maybe it fits as an IDLE RPG game?

    Competitive strategy games

Preferably progressive game where you necome stronger with time. I played clash of clans and i really like it, however it is a bit too simple. Is there a game that is competitive(optional) and a bit complex?

    Preferably multiplayer

Any RPG style games where you progress by walking IRL?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2021 12:57 AM PST

A friend of mine started playing Pikmin Bloom, and I thought the idea was really neat, though I didn't care for the game specifically, and was wondering if there were any other games where you passively progress by walking/running? Whether they operate off of a pedometer or GPS.

Ones I've heard of are Orna and ZombiesRun, but the former doesn't actually progress by walking, it just makes monsters spawn, and the latter is more of an active progression experience, whereas I, being a fan of idler/afk style games, would prefer a game I can forget about for a day or two at a time, and come back to, having progressed via the steps I took.

Mission Chief: Emergency first responder dispatch game with alliances, playable on browser or through (non-native, but decent) Android app.

    Posted: 22 Nov 2021 03:56 PM PST

I'm not the developer, nor am I associated with them. I started a new job a couple of months ago, so I have been looking for a game that I can keep open on a browser Tab and do a click here or there and then take it home and play the same account on my phone with.

The other day I found Mission Chief, and while I've never been particularly interested in dispatch games or fire trucks and that sort of thing, it's been quite a bit of fun. The interface of the game is played on a map service like Google Maps, but it is not necessarily geolocation locked, meaning you could be living in San Francisco and start off in Denver if you wanted to. Many people have dozens of stations all over the US/World.

The gameplay Loop is building fire stations, police stations, hospitals Etc and then dispatching your units to respond to random situations that pop up every minute or so) you get max missions available capped by the amount of buildings you have), such as brush fires or car accidents or DUI checkpoints. You can also buy more vehicles and hire and train staff (for example, my first day I stupidly used my valuable credits on buying a police motorcycle on day one but I can't use it because I need a cop to train at an academy to become a motorcycle cop, which you can either build or use your alliance's) It starts off pretty slow and confusing, so you definitely have to dedicate at least a couple of hours until you get the hang of the flow of it. As a warning, it doesn't hold your hand, which probably lends to a lot of early on rage quitting, but if you ask questions and explore it starts to make sense. If I can figure it out, anyone can.

When you dispatch your units, you see them driving "real time" toward the situation (they follow the roads on the maps, but it's like they're driving 120 mph lol). Responding to a situation gets you credits which in turn you can use to build or upgrade new stations/buy vehicles, thus making a larger Fleet and unlocking more available concurrent missions.

There are alliances too, and you can share Alliance buildings and respond to each other's situations if they are close enough.

Anyway, I have had a lot of fun with it and if a minimalistic stress-free browser game you can also play on your phone sounds interesting, give it a shot. To reiterate, I come from a gaming background with zero dispatch experience or interest at all.

I'm always curious as to what the daily player count is on games like these because I don't want to play a dead game, but from what I could gather over the past few days I would say it's at least in the thousands. Very nice, dedicated, and helpful community. Again, nothing fancy or flashy about the graphics and gameplay, but that's kind of what I was looking for.

Edit: If you have any starting out questions, please feel free to ask me and I will respond when I can. I think the most frustrating part about the game can be answered by early and easy questions. I myself I've only been playing for a couple of days and just today I feel like I get the hang of things. Like I said, it starts off simple and confusing but the depth gets pretty crazy.
