Android Gaming This is a review someone left on my app, and honestly it feels really good to read. Its what keeps me developing new games, even if they aren't the most popular or played by many

[DEV] We're an indie team of two, trying to do something a bit different on mobile. Mixing tough combat and fast progression into roguelike brawler UnderKnight! We had such a nice response here last time, we wanted to update you that you can now download the early access release!

    Single Player CCG?

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 11:26 AM PDT

I'm looking for a game in the vein of Card City Nights and the old Yu-Gi-Oh games on GBA that had opening of boosters and a collection of cards you used to play a campaign. I'm specifically NOT looking for roguelike games like Slay the Spire that reset your deck on death. Also NO PVP Please!

Roguelike games with upgrades between runs?

One of my favorite parts of roguelikes are meta progression, like in Hades. Any good Android games with that?

Streaming PC to phone with moonlight

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:09 AM PDT

    Hello

I'm getting a really cheap entry phone as my first phone soon because it comes free with the purchase of a line from my network provider. I plan on upgrading next year. It has a snapdragon 480.

My current gaming rig does have Nvidia on it and is a Windows 10.

I want to be able to stream games and higher-end emulators to my phone using moonlight, but I have a few questions:

    1. Can Moonlight wake my PC up from sleep mode?
    2. Can I wake up my PC when I'm out of the house and not connected to it's wifi?
    3. Can you navigate windows from Moonlight or can you only play specific games from a launcher?
    4. If the above question is true, can I add individual applications as games?

    Thank you.

    Thoughts on Nexomon?

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 11:41 AM PDT

I saw the sequel on Switch and it caught my attention, but I want to play the first one to see if it is worth, is cheap so I think I'll do it. What are your thoughts about the game? Is a good Pokemon clone? Why is so low rated on play store?

    Insaniquarium for Mobile - Update!

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 09:50 AM PDT

I posted a bit ago if anyone knows a good app for Insaniquarium for mobile phones, and I eventually reached out to EA to see if they had any future plans for this.

The response from them was positive, however they would need to receive more requests from fans wanting the game taken to mobile.

If youre interested in helping take this game to your pocket, go to the EA Customer Service (https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/) and select PopCap as the Product, PC for the System, and Game Information as the topic.

There will be a text box for you to type out an email, mine was simply "I was wondering if there are any future plans for an Insaniquarium Mobile release?"

Anywhoo, thanks for reading this far! And an extra thank you if you help the cause!

searching for a game similar to 'path of immortal' in terms of art style and gameplay

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:40 AM PDT

really REALLY like this game, but hot damn it's literally pay to play otherwise there's almost no progress at all, you cant even just grind for gear without paying for tickets.

gameplay is basically archero, but with a much better skin; feels like diablo/titan-q.. i really like the game, but damn it, the only way to get upgrade mats is paying a LOT of money or wait for the idle grind...

Best offline game for daily short-ish tube journey

    Posted: 03 Sep 2021 11:36 PM PDT

For the next two months I am in London for work, and am looking for a game that is easy to play on two 15 mins rides. I'm currently playing Slay the Spire but I am getting bored of it (as I've already poured hundred of hours into it 🤣).

I'm not really fussy with the genre so please recommend your favourites, my only rules is- -that it can't be too simple (i got bored of Threes after one tube ride) -hard to play on the phone without a controller as I don't have one with me and don't want it cos of hassle, i love dead cells but boy that was so hard on touchscreen! Especially when sometimes I have to stand up on the tube when there isnt any seats -ideally it would be a paid game cos i really hate adverts or needing an internet connection being underground, unless it's not too OTT

Sorry english isn't my main language. Thank you so much!

Should I get Shadow Warrior Classic Redux?

I own a controller, so that's not an issue. But does this game work well with a gamepad? Is the port even good?

Companies that Offer Unlimited LTE Hotspots?

    Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:59 AM PDT

Because of work, I'm only home a few days a month (if I'm lucky).

At home, my pc is on a gigabit connection hosting my various home servers.

Accross the country, I connect my phone to a VPN and then activate the hotspot. This work-around gives me a unlimited ~6mbps hotspot, good enough for 720p streaming. If I go through my carrier, a measly 10gb costs $20, which is obviously a complete rip-off.

However, I'm wanting to start streaming my games from my PC to my tablet, so I need a much faster connection (Not too worried about latency since I'll be playing mostly offline).

I use Steam Link while on LAN, but I'm not sure what speeds I'll need while I'm accross the country. I've also used another software called remotr in the past, so I know I have options to experiment with.

My real question is if anyone knows of a company that sells fast (4g/5g) unlimited hotspots.

If all else fails I'll probably end up buying a new tablet with LTE and paying $20/month for it's own data line. I'd prefer a hotspot though so I can share the connection with my laptop/co-workers.
