I know I posted about this yesterday and people told me to "just accept it"... I did... and it still pops up. Here's a screenshot of the pop up: https://m.imgur.com/gue4cAD Comes up every 5 minutes on my phone, no matter what app I'm using. I've clicked both options already... and it doesn't matter what I do... it keeps coming back 5 minutes later This makes the phone basically unusable. Anyone know what is going on ?? I have an Amazon Fire TV stick that runs on Android but doesn't have Google Play Services and the Play Store. There is a specific app that currently has a Android TV (or Google TV?) version of their app in open beta testing: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.vrt.vrtnu&hl=nl&gl=US. I would like to sideload this app to my Fire TV Stick. There is no APK of this beta floating around on sites like APK Pure. I have tried using the aurora store (which is sort of a third party client for the Google Play Store) but it still installs the normal version of the app even though I'm signed up for the beta test. The store doesn't recognize me as a device that can install the Google TV version. Even when this app goes out of beta I think I'd run into the same problem. | Posted: 04 Sep 2021 10:08 AM PDT Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 and have set the camera app to use my sdcard instead of internal memory. My question is why I still get images in my internal memory folder occasionally. I haven't determined if there is a certain trigger, but I can see where I took two images the other day three minutes apart, and one went to internal storage while the other rightfully went to the sdcard. This seems to happen a lot. I can see where all screenshots and screen recordings still go under the DCIM folder in internal memory, but I can't understand why the camera app seems to hiccup every now and then and saves files to internal memory. I though I remembered reading somewhere that certain camera functions like burst still require the use of internal memory as it has faster write speeds than even the best sdcards, but the images I'm taking are just standard stuff. It seems to me they could program the use of the internal memory for all initial writing of files and then move them to the sdcard once the file/s where written. Getting the best of both worlds. | OnePlus 7T Screen Dead... How to recover photos/videos? Posted: 04 Sep 2021 08:37 AM PDT Hi all, I have a 7T who's screen I unfortunately broke while moving (dropped while loading). I backed everything except photos up to google drive, so I'm in good shape all things considered and have a replacement phone. However, I cannot figure out how to retrieve the photos from the 7T -- or any data for that matter. The phone appears to still work (e.g., alarm goes off), but the screen is totally dead. If I connect the phone to my windows computer, the phone appears as "CD Drive (D:) OnePlus Drivers". I've installed the executable therein and restarted my computer, this is still all that appears when I connect. I've tried a dedicated data retrieval application and directly connecting the 7T to another phone, but neither worked, because I needed to authenticate the connection / provide additional information on the 7T -- which I can't do with the 7T's broken screen. I'm all out of ideas besides taking it to a service dedicated to retrieving data from phones. What do you think, everyone? Thanks! [link] [comments] |

What I mean by the battery is not working is because when I'm charging it.It would skip percentage like 15% to 100% and if I start using it after I used up the 15% leaving 85% it would just shut up and I need to charge it again.How do I stop this from happening? I have a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (tucana), and I have flashed the Pixel Experience Plus Rom (Android 11). I noticed that there is a charging speed limit. I downloaded Acca with Magisk and I installed the apk as well. Following the comments found here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-11-tucana-pixelexperience-plus-aosp.4297459/page-4). Before checking that, my limit was at 2000mAh charging. As I change the voltage and mah limits according to the comments found in that thread, the speed seems to start nicely at 4000+- mAh and after a few seconds you see it go down gradually, and over the span of 2-3 minutes it's already at 2500 mAh, and going even lower. What can I do to make fast charging work and stay at 4000+ mAh? [link] [comments] |

I know that I can make individual files available Offline in Android, but how about an entire folder? If it's not possible, is copying all files and folders to phone by usb cable and syncing from there an only option? I'm still/was using the original cable and power adaptor that came with my pixel 3a. So I just bought a new Anker powerline ii type C to type C cable to replace the original cable that came with my phone. It got my thinking I honestly really don't have a clue about power adaptors and cables. I try to use the original cable and adaptor that came with my phone (most the time ). Apart from that I'm plugging I'm usually just jamming whatever random cable that fits into whatever random random power adaptor that's laying around. I don't know of I'm damaging my devices by doing this ? I'll use whatever is at hand to charge my vape, kindle, tablet , flashlight, battery charger and sometimes phone (when my original charger isn't to hand). I'm not unique either all my friends and family just charge their devices with whatever random cable and adaptor is at hand. What I'm asking is this okay to do ? Can I buy a single quality usb power adaptor? A quality usb type C cable and micro usb cable. And just use this to charge anything and everything? I just looked and I have my original pixel 3a type C charger 5v - 3a / 9v -2a , a Huawei Supercharge 9v-2a or 4.5v- 5a or 5v 4.5a and old iPhone charger 5v -1 a. [link] [comments] |

The power button, vibration motors are working well. The charging light goes on when charging the phone, which makes me suspect that it is a display issue. Also, USB debugging is not enabled on the phone. Is there anyway to get photos or data off the phone in its current condition? I'm on T-Mobile. My SD card is a 128GB one and it's about half full. I have no issues with storing the photos and other stuff I need on it. Posted: 04 Sep 2021 05:47 AM PDT I went back to an old custom rom, then had the battery replaced, and then realized Wi-Fi isn't working with this custom rom or maybe the new battery fucked it up somehow, so I'm going back to stock, but connecting to the computer means it will start to charge. Apparently I'm not supposed to charge the battery when it's new, only drain it to 0% two times, and then start using it normally. So I have tons of apps open right now and the screen at a medium brightness, so I can get it over with and use the battery normally. Now I am trying to install stock OTA which is downloaded from (OxygenOS 10.0.1) but having this error while doing it via ADB. Total xfer: 2.00x The above error is coming after 94% and on mobile installation completed, Please reboot.. I also tried MSM Download tools 4.0.58, But still not installed the OS. Ive recently tried to install prime os and then phoenix with no success. prime loaded to a certain part in the boot.. where with google I found a lot of people couldn't boot past. phoenix same, couldn't boot live and I couldn't get it installed. tried different partition configurations.. tried yumi, rufus. ..and I have 3 laptops.. tried all.
