    Any AndroidTV browser that will load a page with an HTML5 video player?

    I have an internal NGINX server that serves up a simple html webpage with an embedded HTML5 video player that plays an HLS stream from a camera. This works fine on Chrome on Windows or Mac, but I'm looking for a way to play that directly on a Sony Android TV.

    Since Chrome isn't available for androidtv (don't want to sideload b/c its a work TV), are there any browsers available on the play store that would work for this?

    I tried the Puffin browser and when I enter the URL, it doesn't work. I think it comes up with a refused or failed to connect error.

    My TV won't go into screensaver mode

    Title. Basically my TV won't go into screensaver mode. When it works it's supposed to display pictures but all it displays now is a white screen. This just started happening about an hour ago. I tried fully turning it off but that didn't work. Anyone else run into a similar problem?

    EDIT: Looks like changing the network & internet fixed it. Maybe turning the wifi off and on will fix it too but I'll have to try that next time the screensaver breaks.

    Plex crashes on GoogleTV

    Anyone else having an issue where after an episode of a television episode from plex, the chrome cast with googletv will crash and do a full restart? It causes my Visio TV to also go crazy and reboot 25% of the time as well.

    Managed to solve difficulty connecting to 5ghz wifi by changing my router frequency from 80mhz to 40mhz. Very strange that xiaomi in this day and age have problem this with wifi on their modern streaming devices.

    Now this buggy device has a new wifi problem. Connection to internet is ok and stays connected while using the mitv stick during the day. The next day after standby overnight the mi tv stick internet is off. The mi tv stick reports wifi is connected but no internet. All my other devices are connected and internet is working. All the ip address and connection details on the mitv stick show the wifi is connected but it can't connect to the internet wwweb.

    Every morning I now have to toggle off/on the mi tv stick wifi so it can reconnect to the internet.

    Anyone else have this problem and is there a solution for this?

    Totally annoyed by this mitv stick with so many network isssues.

    I am considering buying android tv for my family. I'm curious about switching multiple accounts within the app, I've seen many posts confirms it can switch multiple 'Google' accounts. However, in my case I have 1 google account with multiple 'Youtube' channels, Can I swap between them in the app like i do on web or even mobile app?

    Did Google include Auto framerate / refresh rate in latest Android TV 12 Beta? Can someone with ADT-3 check that?

    Should be something like "Match refresh rate" in Display settings

    I updated smart youtube and for some reasont he regular elite version foes not work need the pro option and on latest update is no available. Will have to downgrade by deleting and reinstalling older version.

    Samsung smart TV on Android?

    Hey all! Recently my family purchased a new 65" Samsung TU8000, and we absolutely despise the Tizen smart TV interface. It's clunky, missing apps, and it's just not a fun time. Inversely, we have a lower-end TLC TV upstairs that has pretty much barebones Android TV on it, and we absolutely love it. I'm sure this has been asked before, but how can I load Android onto the Samsung? I know it can be done since I've heard it's similar to rooting a modern smartphone or something similar, but I would feel much more comfortable if there were a proper guide or something I could follow. If anyone can help out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    P.S. - If this is the wrong place to ask about this, can I be guided to the correct place?
