    Getting this issue in Redmi 50inch tv, this comes in every 1-2 hours for one frame. Redmi says its a software issue, any leads ? PS : The video attached was recorded and played at 0.1x speed

    Need something to replace my Nvidia Shield.

    The reason why I originally purchased the Nvidia Shield was because it was at the top of all of the best tv box lists. I have the new Google with Chromecast, it's cool but not enough storage Not an Apple guy, and I have Rokus around the house, they're fine but limited too. My Shield has been crap, the remote freezes, videos don't load, before I replace it, I'd like to know if there something better?

    Android TV auto powers on any time I open Spotify on my Android phone and start playing a song

    So this is a strange issue. If I have my Nvidia Shield TV powered off and I open Spotify on my Android phone and start playing a song, the Nvidia Shield TV automatically powers on, resuming whatever it was doing prior to powering off. For example, it may power on automatically and resume playing a YouTube video from before.

    I've tried deleting the Spotify app from the Shield TV, thinking maybe it had something to do with Spotify Connect despite playing the song on the Android phone and not via the Shield/Spotify Connect. Despite Spotify now being deleted from the Shield, the same behaviour persists with auto power on of the Shield and TV.

    It's worth nothing that I have two Nvidia Shields and this issue always and only happens with just the one Shield.

    Wondering if anyone else has this issue or has seen this and is aware of a fix?

    Search filters in SmartTubeNext?

    Anyone know how to sort search results in SmartTubeNext on Android TV 9.0? I really like the interface, but searching for the latest using a keyword is always such a pain.

    I've tried using Vanced with Air Mouse, but it's too clunky and it always crashes when seeking videos more than 20 seconds.

    Google apps on chinese Android TV device

    So hello, Few months ago my parents bought some android tv and i thought it would be great until i booted it… it doesnt have any kind of google play apps nothing, i tried installing play store it wouldnt let me sign in and i thought installing google play services would help but it crashed every 2 seconds saying that it wasnt responding. Please if someone knows how to fix it reply

    I got subject TV for my mom. All is fine with the tv but I don't understand of the remote control is programmable or not so that it will change channels on the cable set top box. The audio works over the hdmi via hdmi2 port, but the channel change does not and I'm not seeing that this can ever work.

    The remote is rf402a-v14.

    The set top is a cisco 4640hdc2.

    Any help appreciated, from what I can find, the controller does not seem programmable, or at least, the procedure to do it is eluding me...

    I use an Acer Travelmate with Mashita DVD-ram UJ8HC built in. When I put a DVD, it recognises the DVD, but not to play with it, but as a removable storage device. How can I use my built in DVD player to play DVDs on my Acer Travelmate with Android TV 9 installed.?

    Only voice button on remote works

    Hi All,

    This is the second time that I experience this, only the voice button works on the remote, all buttons are not working, currently im using android home remote app to control the tv

    I already tried replacing the batteries and still not working, before it just works again but now i'd like to have a personal fix on this, any help is greatly appreciated

    Looking for proper fast forward with sound and filetype support

    My 10 year old streaming 3D box died finally. It had FF with pitch corrected sound up to 2x. I loved this feature.

    But now I'm using libreelec on rpi2 and rpi4. Neither has ff with sound and both have broken FFing on some file types. So this is not a good replacement!

    I'm basically just looking for something with good ff performance. Doesn't even have to be android tv. Suggestions?
