    Hi!

    So, I just updated the tv and my dual shock original game pad controllers pair still, but doesn't do anything. The tv does not react to the buttons. What's up with that?

    Android phone as android tv?

    I had an old s10+ with an broken display, so I decided rather than just throw it way; if I can use it as an android box, it should be more then enough powerful to render 4k and run most android apps and games.

    So I got an USB c to hdmi; and it works perfectly fine. And for remote I just use my ds4 controller. The one and ONLY issue I have is the UI, it was obviously designed for touchscreen so it is kinda hard to navigate and the experience isn't as smooth as it could be.

    So I was wondering if there's any way to install google tv os on my android phone? They both run android so I don't see it being impossible. And my galaxy s10+ hardware should be wayyyy better than any android box.

    My mi tv 4 55 keeps doing this. I tried to hard reset but I can’t get the boot menu to show up. Please help

    4K HDR able Screensaver app that can play video files from a local NAS folder for Nvidia Shield

    Needs to have:

    -4K HDR video file support

    -Be a screensaver app

    -Work on Nvidia shield TV

    -Access NAS network folder locally for file playback.

    Currently I haven't found any.

    ​

    *Aerial does not play local files

    *Photo Gallery and Screensaver I believe doesn't support 4K HDR mov files (I could be wrong)

    Direct TV Stream

    Att tv recently rebranded as direct tv stream and my former, perfectly functioning , apk no longer works. I found one but it's got some bugs (no icon in main menu and the guide doesn't scroll back to the beginning) . Anyone know about a better option?

    NFL Gamepass

    Why the heck can't you hide the scores on the NFL Gamepass app on Android TV?

    For the price we pay for the service it should be able to do something as simple as that.

    Can't search across apps

    Just bought a Hisense 55" Class U6G Series Quantum 4K ULED Android TV. When I use Google Assistant to search for something ("comedies" for example), I get the following message: "Search across all your TV apps. To do this, allow Google to share your request with your TV's apps. You can turn this setting off at any time in your TV settings. Learn more at..." with "Allow" and "No Thanks" as button options. However, when I try to click Allow, I get the confirmation sound, but nothing happens and the screen stays there. I have looked for the mentioned setting in the settings menu, but I can't find it. Any help?

    Androidtv vs Google tv

    Just wondering why androidtv on my old Sony tv has way more apps to choose from than my new Sony tv with Google tv. The only way around this is to search for the Play Store in the Google tv search bar. Why is there no Play Store in Google tv? Makes no sense to me.

    SmartTube TV no search results?

    Using firestick and SmartTube TV. I can't search for anything. I input my search and it appears to register but nothing loads. Restarted my stick and everything so essentially I'm limited to watching whatever the app recommends for me basically making it useless for the time being

    EDIT: I am using SmartTube NEXT
