Put a hot spot on it so I can still use my OP6 for everything. But is there a way to push phone calls to my OP6 from that other phone? [link] [comments] |
| Samsung Galaxy A52 doesn't recognize SD card Posted: 17 Aug 2021 11:45 AM PDT Hello, today I bought the A52 to replace my LG G6. Tbh i don't really like the new phone until now. It crashed multiple times and doesn't want to read my sd card. I got an error message once saying that i need to format my sd card. Since i don't want to delete 180gb of pictures I didn't do it. I also tried the card in different devices. 6 in total. Works everywhere besides the A52. I might end up throwing this thing away. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments] |

He stomps constantly, parks in the lined off no parking space closest to the building, and most recently bought a new pair of Bluetooth headphones that CONSTANTLY try to connect to my phone. Even when I turn my Bluetooth off. How do I stop this other than cold blooded murder? I'm getting real close to going to prison. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy A50 on what was the Sprint network. | HELP: Samsung a52 5G or Oneplus Nord 2 Posted: 17 Aug 2021 12:22 PM PDT I'm getting a new phone this month and I'm really torn between the a52 5g and nord2. I'm all for the nord2 overall, but I'm really confused as to which phone has the better camera (as the performance difference and 90/120hz between both phones isnt that major to me). I'll only be using the main sensor for photos as all the other sensors on both phones aren't really that great. I've seen countless reviews and camera comparison videos but I still can't choose. I know that videos & nighttime photos on the nord 2 are superior but I'm split on which phone takes better daytime photos. | Locking touch but keeping mouse control? Posted: 17 Aug 2021 11:34 AM PDT Hi, so I managed to crack the display of my recently bought tablet. Only like 1/10 of the screen still works and there's a lot of random "ghost touches", but luckily it came with an OTG cable, so I can still use it somehow with a mouse. The problem now is of course the random tapping, which makes it really annoying to use. I've looked into it a little bit and found an app called touch lock which I hoped would've solved my problem, but unfortunately it also locks the mouse input.. Do you know of any other app that might work? Or is there some hidden setting in Android that would help? I already went through the developer settings but had no luck. | Quiet time for particular apps Posted: 17 Aug 2021 10:40 AM PDT Does anyone know a way to enforce quiet hours for particular apps? My phone is used for work and personal things. I'd like to continue to get notifications for personal things after work. Likewise if like to be notified or work related things whilst in work hours. The company I work for works 24hrs so I'd very much like to stop the around the clock notifications from slack, files being shared on drive, comments in Google docs etc etc. I'm running Android 11. | Posted: 17 Aug 2021 10:04 AM PDT Something weird happened when I backed up my samsung note 8 to the PC via the Samsung smart switch pc app. I discovered after the backup completed that my phone cleared up 8gbs of internal storage. Before backup I had 64gbs left in my internal storage and after backup I had 72gbs. I checked all my photos , videos , audios , downloads , documents , nothing was missing. So I'm really confused now and kinda worried. Where did all that storage suddenly come from? I've never even heard of anything like this happening before to other people after a backup... I'm wondering if during backup they cleared all my app caches or something ? I have 113 apps but I'm not convinced all that cache would add up to 8gbs though... It's not the end of the world but its really bugging me how this happened. Would really appreciate any thoughts and advice on this. Thank you!!! [link] [comments] |

| No notifications at the top of my screen (whatsapp) Posted: 17 Aug 2021 11:42 AM PDT Hello, Since last week I don't get a pop up (?) at the top of my screen with a pre-view of the message I get. I only get the icon at the top my screen. When my phone is locked I still have the preview at my screen. But when my screen is unlocked I dont get a pop up but just the icon. So with no preview of the message. I don't mean the pop up at the middle of the screen (that's removed by android 10 I believe). I didn't change anything. All notifications are on and the mode ''do not disturb'' is turned off. What am I misssing. Is it a bug? I use the Motorola One Action with adroid 10. [link] [comments] |

When I called to get the code put in this error popped up and they said there was nothing they could do. Is there any fix at all for this? The phone is useless to me now, and according to Canada law it is illegal to keep a phone locked on one network provider so how can I go about getting this phone unlocked? | Factory resetting wiki y60 not working Posted: 17 Aug 2021 08:44 AM PDT So my kid changed Abd forgot the security pattern on their phone. I am trying to reset the phone, but any combination of holding down the power and volume keys skips the bios flash screen and goes straight to simply displaying "meta mode" at the bottem left of the screen, with no further options. However, this button does not appear for ANY app I have tried except my "Skype Lite" app. I'm not talking about system apps - I'm talking about random apps for language learning etc. They don't even have this "Change" button when I go to the Settings->Storage screen for that app. The only app I have been able to move, for some reason, via the Change button, is my Skype Lite app. ????? I've had to break it out a few times over the last year due to being rough on my phones and destroying them. What I've found is that I've accidentally contacted a few people (relatives) using imessage while on the iphone, and now I am no longer getting responses from them on android. | Galaxy S6 multi-touch limits to 2 sometimes Posted: 17 Aug 2021 04:32 AM PDT so i don't know why but sometimes when i'm using my Galaxy S6 to play games using 4 fingers, it will stop registering more than 2 fingers. this applies to everything, not just games. restarting the phone sometimes fixes this but i'm honestly not sure whats causing it so i thought id ask here. anyone know why this happens and if i can stop it from happening? any help would be much appreciated. | Posted: 17 Aug 2021 03:17 AM PDT I recently got one of our old family Tablets out of the cabinet and figured I would use it until I get my phone fixed. However, I keep getting a Software update error stating "Internet connection error or the server is busy. Please wait a moment and try again." It has been doing this every time I try to update the system for a few days and I'm not sure what else to do aside from factory reset the device, but from what I've been reading, I'm not sure if it's an issue with the device that won't be resolved with the reset but I'm not sure.
