- HELP So I don't know how this app got on my phone or just appeared and I don't know if it's a virus.

To connect to the running server, i need to use the VPN-Type IPSec Xauth PSK" On my current phone im running Android 12 Beta As i configure my VPN connection there is no type IPSec Xauth PSK available I only have - IKEv2/IPSec MSCHAPv2 - IKEv2/IPSec PSK - IKEv2/IPSec RSA None of them work When i choose IPSec PSK, i can not activate something like a Xauth-checkboxx Can anyone help me with this? Ive read some things online, where people are saying that there is always risk of losing data. But i havent really seen any good post with concrete information. The chat i want to backup/export has alot of pictures. When i export the chat i want to be able to import it later without losing the location of the pictures in the chat. The pop-ups when I get a new message suddenly stopped appearing, as well as the phone vibrating. It only happens on WhatsApp. I tried resetting WhatsApp's notification settings, went over my phone settings, and profiles (silent, vibrate, etc), but nothing seems to fix it. No idea what caused it. I also re-installed WhatsApp and it didn't help. The notification itself still appears in the notification column, but my only way for me to notice it is the little icon on the top bar... | Acer Iconia 81-710 with color inversion issue Posted: 30 Jul 2021 12:09 PM PDT I dug up one of my old tablets and I vividly remember accidentally dropping and the colors inverting upon picking it up. Now the entire screen is completely inverted and I've been searching for a way to fix it. Apparently this is a somewhat rare issue but I did find a few results on Google, to no avail. I have checked everywhere in the settings and there is no color conversion option. I've checked developer mode, display, and accessibility and there is absolutely no option to change it. I've even tried downloading some apps to see if maybe one of them would be able to invert my screen back to normal, but that didn't work either. I have done a complete factory reset and it still is inverted. What other options do I have to fix the screen? Maybe there is a color inverter option and I just haven't found it? Is there something simple I can do or is it stuck like this forever? I really don't want to root this device, especially because I've never done it before. Thank you in advance. [link] [comments] |

| Android 11 file access nightmare Posted: 30 Jul 2021 06:32 AM PDT Redmi Note 9S (Global) Android 11 MIUI 12.0.2.0.RJWMIXM It's been a couple months since my Redmi went from 10 to 11. With that update almost every app I use to edit images refuses to open or import images from my internal or SD. I try to share from the gallery directly to any app that will allow it only to receive the same results. All of my permissions that I can see are allowing permission to my storage and the problem still persists. Is this an Android 11 issue or a MIUI issue? It's become a real headache for me as I really do enjoy editing and memeing with my phone. I appreciate any input or suggestions on what I can do. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Jul 2021 09:09 AM PDT This app I don't think it's made by Samsung but it's called Reminder the developer is # made by Samsung Samsung electronics Co, Ltd. It said I downloaded it from the Galaxy store. I can't uninstall it or disable it. It appeared out of nowhere in my app gallery. I never seen it before I'm positive it wasn't pre-installed on my phone. I clicked on the developer and the other apps they have look fishy. I tried looking shot it in the Play Store but I couldn't find it. Has anyone heard of it? Should I factory reset my phone? I have a Samsung galaxy a21 if that helps. [link] [comments] |

Basically I've always wondered is it possible, if yes - how is it done, is it worth it, because I have the feeling it would just be very slow, but it's good to have, if you want to have a more mobile device, so you can download large torrents anywhere. I followed this guide. but after the Odin AP patch I get into TWRP I wipe it and when I chose REBOOT the phone rebooted back in the system and the phone restarted. Now I can't see the unlock OEM setting in dev and if I try to run the ODIN patch again i get an error something like "only official binaries can be installed" or something like that. Posted: 30 Jul 2021 04:43 AM PDT I discovered that my phone got a android 8 update 2 years ago but i didn't get it so i have to manually update and i need to made a full app backup (apk + data) to an sd card OR a pc so i can update peacefully, i don't care about the rest of the data since i don't have much else to backup. I'm trying to use Separate App Sound to have Samsung Music play through my Bluetooth speaker but have all other audio (YouTube, Reddit videos, etc) come through my phone. This always worked with my S7, but on the S20 when I try to play any other audio it still overrides Samsung Music and plays through my speakers. Anyone able to help me troubleshoot this? Posted: 30 Jul 2021 04:28 AM PDT I've used a few different file browser / image viewer apps over the years but Mixplorer is IMO easily the best of them, so I really don't want to switch to another app. But in the last few days I've been getting an annoying & weird problem where when I click to view a pic, Mixplorer thinks its the 1st pic in the folder (regardless of whether its the 1st, 25th, or 2500th pic), meaning I can only move forward in a folder. Even stranger is that Mixplorer now thinks (only when viewing an image) that I have less than 2000 pics when the number is more than double that. Stranger still is that this miscount changes randomly. It seems to rwnge between 1950-1986. I'm using the latest version, but it happens with older versions too. I have a Fire HD 10" tablet.
