Posted: 12 Jun 2021 10:30 PM PDT Was looking for portrait mode RPGs lately and saw a lot of people on here mentioning Knights of Pen and Paper. Considered it many times over the years and finally decided to buy it for $5. The problem is I don't really know what I'm supposed to be doing? I started up with 2 characters a paladin and a witch. The witch I keep upgrading life drain which hits all enemies and it's just absolutely melting everything in 1 hit now. I'm on day 30, there was never any explanation about days or how they come into play.. I see I can add more members to the party but everything is so insanely easy that it would make it even easier I imagine? I tried an escort quest that said level 30 and I was getting destroyed instantly by high level mobs so I closed app and restarted my day. What's the goal here? Is there a point day wise the game ends and does anything carry over? The graphics, music, combat is all very cool but I feel like I'm missing an entire tutorial or something on the game as a whole. | Simple Online Game to Play with Friends Posted: 12 Jun 2021 06:50 AM PDT My friends and I are a bit addicted to Soul Knight, a simple rougelike android game that can be finished under 20 minutes for each round. The only issue is that Soul Knight only supports LAN multiplayer. We can't play together if one of us is out of town. Is there a similar game that lets us relive the same simple fun online? I also really like the management part of the game where you need to build structures on tiles to farm resources. So before buying it I was wondering if there are any similar games that have the same characteristics and depth as grim or are even better? | [DEV] Battle Merge - Block Puzzle, Merge Mechanics and Enchantments Posted: 11 Jun 2021 02:02 PM PDT Hello again Android gamers, Battle Merge is a game I made during the quarantine that I released just over a month ago. It is a casual time-killer block puzzle game where you fight enemies, collect loot and merge that loot to advance and fight more powerful enemies. The mechanics of Battle Merge consist of two parts:
As you play, you will battle random enemies in different biomes, and once you are powerful enough you will get the opportunity to battle boss enemies that drop powerful enchanted items. I have some plans on updating it in the future, and would definitely appreciate if you give it a shot and let me know what you think of it. If you are a fan of casual time-killer games or puzzle games in general, you might enjoy it. It was made based on my previous game, Loot N Craft, but with brand-new mechanics and a higher level of polish and game balance. It doesn't have thousands of hours of content like your typical big-publisher mobile game, but it should keep you busy for quite some time. But I would like the game to be played in a vertical/portrait orientation. No text-based games please! Mindustry is the perfect example. Paid, or Freemium game suggestions are fine too...
