| Latest best Android TV app for slideshows with both photos and video clips Posted: 30 May 2021 12:10 AM PDT I'm having trouble finding an app that will do a slideshow of both photos and video clips. Chromecast ambient is really nice but skips all the video clips. One of the better aspects of Chromecast Ambient mode is the ability to display shared albums enabling us to set up a screen for a tech impaired family member and display new photos for them without any management on their part. It just really sucks that there's no video option. I can think of a lot more features to add but this is my main issue for now. Please... please share any and all slideshow apps that will do this. The more customization features the better. Hopefully with the ability to sync with Google Photos , Apple, Synology etc. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 30 May 2021 08:13 AM PDT My family had bought MiBox probably 3 months ago and use it to watch youtube/netflix/amazon prime and I have never used MiBox by connecting with my device simply because I don't watch anything on TV and prefer watching stuff on my laptop. I generally use VPN for day-to-day surfing and out-of-the-blue I saw ads in Dutch language on the MiBox when I was connected to Netherlands IP address even though my device was not connected with the MiBox. That raised some serious eye brows because my family members don't use VPN (yes, I asked them this question after finding the Dutch ad), so does that mean MiBox can track my device too? I have an app on my phone thats allows me to watch sports games. I want to watch them on the big non smart tv. I purchased a chromecast already. I can only get it to mirror when connected to wifi. | Androidtv disabling apps due to potential malware or piracy? Posted: 29 May 2021 05:52 PM PDT I have been using AOSTV app for a while now. Use it to get free IPTV. Noticed this morning the app was gone from my app list. I tried to reinstall it but I received an error message saying error potential malware. I don't have any antivirus installed or anything. That's why I thought it was my androidtv disabling the app. Most probably due to piracy concerns. Anyone experience something similar. Can't re enable the app. Edit: someone replied to me in another thread with the answer. Have to disable app scanning in android TV: settings, device preferences, security&restrictions, disable verify apps. Also don't use google drive to side load piracy apks as google blocks from downloading from there as well. [link] [comments] | ||

| Dynalink Android TV New Update Posted: 29 May 2021 09:38 AM PDT Just checked my dynalink android tv and there was an update. I installed the update and when it restated the language seemed to have changed to chinese. I changed it back to english but the problem is every time I restart it goes back to chinese.
