Anyone remember a game like this (my god sketch), I thought it was a Bionicle game but it isn't, It is a top down view like packman, it had a futuristic look on the maps, you could like upgrade your robot, it had the color green a lot, and had techno esk music that was sick. Any1 remember this?

After 6 months of nighttime development, my first game is finally available on Google Play Store! Gun Rogue!

If I created a Patreon to support going full-time on mobile gaming content creation, is there anything I could provide as a reward that would make you interested in supporting?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 02:29 AM PDT

    Basically what the title says.

I've been posting weekly game recommendation/review threads here on the sub since 2017, but crashed with severe stress in 2020 from managing my day-job while thinking I could produce 3-5 videos and reviews every week.

So I quit my job to dedicate myself to mobile gaming content creation on Reddit and YouTube (which has always been my dream). Now, I'm considering setting up a Patreon to support that endeavor.

What I'm unsure about is what I could offer as Patreon membership rewards.

Things like access to Discord rooms etc. are common, but is there anything I could do that you'd be interested in?

I want to avoid locking the primary pieces of content behind any kind of paywall. So this would have to be "additional" stuff :)

Any and all input is super welcomed.

    Quality game searching

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 11:44 AM PDT

It really feels like you can't depend on the play store to recommend you games, one good option is the indie games tag, but that's about it. I like that this community has its own recommendation ecosystem, but my point is: Do you know any more good recommendation sites for android games?

Is the Razer Kishi the best "Switch-like" solution for Android phones right now, or is there something better?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 12:34 PM PDT

Been interested in the Razer Kishi for awhile, and now that I finally have a phone with 120hz I figured it might be a worthy investment. Is there anything else out there that does it better?

    Prerequisite features are as follows:

    1. Can connect to the phone directly via USB-C (optional wireless functionality as a standalone controller is a bonus but not necessary, and wireless-only is a non-starter)
    2. Controller can split into two halves which can be clipped onto the sides of the phone, Nintendo Switch style

    Thanks!

What are some Mobile Games you are looking forward the most to in 2021?

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 08:42 AM PDT

For me it would be: Fall Guys (No clue as to when China will release the game and it will probably take some months for it to go global), PUGB 2, Star Wars Hunters, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duels (Not confirmed fro mobile yet but still pretty likely) and finally waiting for Lego Star Wars Battle to go global.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas spinning camera bug

    Posted: 30 Mar 2021 09:21 AM PDT

I wanted to play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with a keyboard and mouse, so I got a USB C TO USB A adapter and plugged it in my phone and plugged a wireless keyboard and mouse into the adapter. And everytime I launch the game and get into a save (or new game), the camera starts spinning. I tried many things like lowering down the mouse sensitivity in the game and nothing worked. My phone is HUAWEI P30 lite. Does anyone know a fix?

Looking for IAP free progression games

    Posted: 29 Mar 2021 06:53 PM PDT

I'm looking for micro-transaction free games with some sort of upgrade/progression system. Any game where you earn money to buy upgrades or increase your income I'm a big fan of. Some examples being Infinitode 2, any factory/automation games like Factorio and tycoon games that don't have too much depth/micro management. A lot of the merge games seem fun like My Singing Monsters but the only ones I can find are just micro-transaction machines.

[DEV] Tower Ball - Incremental Tower Defense

    Posted: 29 Mar 2021 12:46 PM PDT

    Hi all,

I created a game called tower ball, I'm curious what you think of it. The category falls under the Incremental /Idle type of game. The main objective is to shrink the balls and progress through the levels. There's different towers to try and combinations of towers to experiment with.

There's no mandatory ads, and the IAP is completely optional, it's possible to earn plenty of premium currency(gems) just playing the game. There's even some tower strategies to grind out gems.

Here's a short preview I had made a few months ago.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKCWAXWRZJA

Here's a link to the game:

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.WaffleStackStudio.TowerBall

If you have comments or suggestions, you can reach me here, or the discord. There's a link to that in the settings of the game.

There's also a website to help explain some of the mechanics and provide some player submitted guides.

    Moonlight + Samsung Dex

    Posted: 29 Mar 2021 09:01 PM PDT

I'm probably not the first person to do this but I didn't see anything about it already, and figured it was worth a share. Apparently, not only can you launch Samsung Dex using a cheap Nintendo Switch dock (got mine off amazon for around $20 a while back), but it works flawlessly with Moonlight for streaming games. I have already set up Moonlight with NVidia's game streaming forewarded all necessary ports. I can now plug that little dock into any tv where my phone has a solid internet connection and have full access (albeit with some latency, but not too much) to my entire Steam library from my home pc. Just wanted to let everyone know this was possible and useful. Also much faster at controlling desktop remotely than using a VNC. Hope this isn't old news, enjoy! ^^

Looking for suggestions: a particular style of game with evolution elemnts

    Posted: 29 Mar 2021 08:12 PM PDT

So, I have been playing 9th dawn III and really enjoying it and capturing the enemies etc loving the pixel art too, for some reason I got really turned off it when I realised I couldn't evolve my companions after capture, for example my wolf cub would never grow into a wolf no matter how much I grinder it's stats, I was so disapointed I haven't played it since, picky I know...

Anyone have any suggestions for games where you can catch and evolve creatures that is rpg style and NOT turn based like Pokemon?

Edit: I have been scouring posts on here for days trying to find a game to scratch my niche itch

I just uploaded my first ever video

    Posted: 29 Mar 2021 11:10 PM PDT

I always had a passion to make a youtube channel about something and once as i was casually playing my game it clicked that i can post videos on this game itself. Tbh this is the only mobile game I play.

I started learning from scratch and this is what i came up with my first video :) . It would help alot if you would provide feedbacks. If you could subscribe that will be great ,it means nothing to you but alot to me i would be so motivated if you guys could show some love.
