| Disney+, any idea why it won't work for me? Posted: 15 Nov 2019 11:56 AM PST we have two verizon phones ( a note 8 and a note 9) the disney+ will work and play content on an older ipad we have but not on our two phones (app works but nothing will actually play, just a loading and then a black screen). Anyone have any idea what might be the cause or if there is a solution? Or just wait for some fix? Is this a known issue? I asked on a note group and it works on other notes. So im getting fed up by the notifications i get from the top slide down notification menu, but those are relatively easily managed. What is more annpying is the notifications that i dont get (often times dont see that i have seen a message or call unless i enter into the app) is there any way to set priority for the notifications in the slide down menu eg make sure i get texts. Also if i clear email saying 10 new emails it will come back as 9 new emails [link] [comments] |

A couple weeks ago i bought a Samsung Galaxy A10e from Walmart through the Straight Talk provider. Last night my phone completely shut off and i figured it was just because i forgot to plug it in to charge. I woke up and plugged it in and my phone didn't even vibrate that i plugged it in. I have left it plugged in all morning and it won't turn on at all. I ave tried Hard Resetting it and just holding the power button and the volume down button down at the same time and nothing happens. This is the second Straight Talk phone that has done this to me. Can I still use the phone like I do today, with official apps from the google play store etc? Or is installing a custom ROM going to reduce the functionality of my device significantly? | I think my phone got half rooted and I want to unroot it Posted: 15 Nov 2019 11:19 AM PST I've installed a recovery app on my phone which has half rooted my phone without telling me, but the fault it's mine for not checking first. Now, I'm quite illiterate on root, so I've been looking online for a solution. I've found a possible solution by going back to the stock version and remove the half rooting. I would have done it already if I hadn't stumbled upon the "knox trip" and the fact that once it gets tripped it's impossible to fix. No, since the closest samsung customer center it's pretty far from where I live, I'd like to solve it on my own. If it's risky to do it, I'll head defeated to the center and let them do it. After all this info my question is: since my Knox is not tripped (Void 0x0000, maybe there was another 0, but all 0 nonetheless), will going back to a stock version with Odin trip it? | Samsung Secure Folder doesn't allow me to change app's permissions Posted: 15 Nov 2019 11:10 AM PST As the title says. I have Tab A 2018 with Android 9. It worked the last time I wanted to change permissions, but now it says "Enabled by admin" for every app and every permission inside Secure Folder. I'm the only one user on the tablet with admin permissions, I haven't changed anything which could lead to this behaviour. Any suggestions on how to fix this without losing data in Secure Folder? Posted: 15 Nov 2019 10:29 AM PST I'm using a Galaxy A20, and I noticed lately that certain apps (ex: AP News, Whatsapp) will not load when I'm connected to my home Wifi network. The apps load just fine over mobile data, as well as on other Wifi networks (tested at a local café). This leads me to believe that there's an issue with the way my home Wifi and my phone are interacting. Any ideas? (Restarting router didn't work.) [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 15 Nov 2019 06:36 AM PST I was trying to backup my phone to Google drive and I think I interrupted it somehow and how every time I try to backup the button is greyed out and every category says "waiting to backup" forever. The only solution I found is I have to completely disable all security on my phone then I can manually backup but once I reenable it it goes back to being greyed out. Any suggestions? | Android tablet slower to boot after update to Android 7 Posted: 15 Nov 2019 06:22 AM PST Hi, After updating my old Android tablet from 6.0.1 to 7.1.1, it takes about twice as long to boot. It seems fine booting until it gets to the home desktop screen, then seems to load all my app icons very slowly, which it did not do right before the update. I tried uninstalling some apps that took a lot of storage, but the issue remains with over 40% storage left. Any ideas why this is going on and how to fix it, thanks. My tablet has an old snapdragon 410 processor if that means anything, I got the update right after I did a regular security patch after not doing updates for a long time. Thanks. [link] [comments] |

I have a not-so-easy-to-find problem and I have had it with google giving me all the wrong answers to my question! Basically what I need to do is tell an app that my phone has a 7inch screen instead of a 7.2 inch screen as the app doesn't allow a screen this large. How do I go about doing that? My phone is a Huawei Mate 20 X with Android 10 /EMUI10 not rooted. Posted: 15 Nov 2019 12:48 AM PST I've just got a new phone (Xiaomi note 8 pro) and I've noticed that when I switch modes from photo to video it zooms in and lessens the quality, it does the same for slow motion video but is normal zoom for short video. And I'm not able to hold press to get different genders/ethnicities, it defaults to the lady all the time A pretty minor issue, but it's a bit annoying. Is it because my OS is so old?
