Sometimes it works for hours sometimes it reboots every 5 minutes. Anyone knows about this issue and how to solve it? I found a website from philips stating it happens due to unstable internet connection mostly with straming apps but lately it happens even whilst I'm just in the main menu. Any help, shared experience or comment (besides 'have you tried a factory reset') is very much appreciated. What I would also like to find out is how to enter recovery mode. [link] [comments] | ||

| 2 days old Sony X75H can't open apps Posted: 17 Jan 2021 06:51 AM PST So, my LG UHD 770T died and I replaced that with Sony X75H, its been two days since the TV was delivered and these two days are of extreme frustration. First thing on day one there was issue with casting screen, had to reset the device. On day two all but preinstalled apps were working. Rest everything ie Hotstar, ZEE5, Sony Liv etc just didn't work, reset it again. Now, on third day some apps are working extremely slow and some dosent work at all. Feels like I had just flushed 60k down the drain. It's been nothing but frustration from past 2 days and Sony support people are not helpful in India. FYI: WiFi network speed on testing in TV is showing 125 Mbps. So, not an network issue. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 16 Jan 2021 11:56 PM PST Hey i got sony x8000h tv and it got only 6gb storage even tho they said its 12gb, anyway i brought 64gb pendrive and made it as device storage and migrated apps to pendrive But even tho i migrated apps to pendrive ,when i checked internal storage it says app data is 5.5 gb when it should be minimum 1gb as system apps cant migrate to pendrive..... Install ES File Explorer on both my phone and nVidia Shield, then easily remotely sideload apps with apk files from my phone/tablet. Of course it's a PITA now that ES File Explorer isn't readily available on the Play Store, so I've tried a couple other popular file explorers, but I haven't found one with that feature. I honestly don't care if it's a file explorer app or not... I just want that particular feature. If I have to pay for a premium version, that's fine by me. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Only Hulu and Amazon are the apps not producing sound, but if we were to turn on the PS4 both Hulu and Amazon work. It happened after an update but I'm not entirely sure. | Android TV HDMI and resolution issue Posted: 16 Jan 2021 01:34 PM PST good day guys i have a JVC LT-58KD507 android TV that i cant seem to find anywhere on the internet , no website no manuals no info inside the settings it isnt labelled as a JVC but ATV AI PONT however the Box says its a 4k HDR tv capable of Dolby vision and audio however when it comes on to the HDMI ports i have alot of issues 1st issue - if i have 3 devices plugged in , only one post will show as 4k, to get it to work with the other 2nd Issue - TV randomly reboots itself if the devices dont seem to agree with the resolution changes 3rd issue - there is alot of image ghosting or picture latency on HDMI and its really obvious on darker what i want to know is am i stuck with this as is or is there a way to change this firmware or OS or any recommendation at all so it can perform better , any suggestions will help oh yeah the accessibility menu on it doesn't work either thanks in advance [link] [comments] | ||

| Chromecast and Android TV users, tell me about your experience Posted: 16 Jan 2021 10:28 AM PST So, I'm very new at this. I have mostly lived off netflix all my life. I do have amazon prime for free deliveries but hardly ever use it to watch on my tv as my tv doesn't have prime button. So I got a chromecast a year ago. I started using prime and youtube and netflix on it. When the pandemic hit, my friends shared links of other shows that are not on these platforms and thank god for chromecast i cast it from my computer. But now my chromecast isn't casting anymore. In fact it's almost like it's dead coz my computer can't find it. So i'm researching to either get a new chromecast or an android tv or those Nvidia tv things. Please help, what would be a good option for someone like me. (My mom had has an android tv that is a trainwreck, it can't play anything after a few months, it got slow slowly now to nothing, so I'm always worried if I get an android box it'll be done in a few months) My budget is like $70 bucks. The problem is that the youtube app lowers the quality. I have noticed that I can watch videos on my PC at 1080p but when i watch the video on my TV, the max quality i can select is 720p. The same goes with 4k videos. If a video is originally 4k, on my TV i can only go to 1080p. It lower the quality by 1 unit. Does anyone have the same problem? It's my TV that is at fault? Where I place it and at the end of the list of the apks. I am on a wolf launcher. I have wolf launcher on firestick 4k and it is doing the same thing.
