| My phone wont download images unless i restart it Posted: 06 Dec 2020 12:46 PM PST Hey, for the past few days ive been having trouble with my phone(coolpad legacy) where, as the title says, when i try and download an image i have to restart my phone for it to register. ive only had this phone since mid july, and i have plenty of room to download images. ive also tried clearing the cache on all my apps, but that didn't work. when i googled my problem all that came up was people not getting texts with images attached, no matter how i phrased the question... EDIT: I tried to take a screenshot immediately after the 6th click and I see in the bottom the notification "you are 1 step away from being a developer", and after I click the 7th time something appears on the screen because I cannot take a screenshot anymore and have to click back or also in the upper left corner of the screen where the back arrow is usually located. | Unable to factory reset my phone Posted: 06 Dec 2020 09:56 AM PST Hello guys, I have an old Nokia XL that I'm using as a replacement before buying a new phone. The initial OS was unusable because of the old Android version and I couldn' t install anything. So I rooted the phone and installed Lineage 11 from XDA on it so I could at least have Android 4.4.4 and install some stuff. It was working fine for many months but few days ago I have no idea why I started to have bunch of "com.android" stopped working message from bunch of different apps. Right now for example I started the phone it says "com.android.gapps" or "android.process.acore" and these messages are looping. Impossible to use. Here is some part of logcat when it happens: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/pXHGrtHYzK/ When I try to reset the phone from the Android settings, it reboots on recovery. In TWRP, when I reset the phone, it says done but it doesn't do anything in fact. I even tried to reflash another custom rom or the same rom, it says done. The first boot I have black screen for few seconds then the phone restarts to the old rom without any changes. I tried to reset via adb, adb shell wipe data it gives me a bunch of "read-only file system" such as this unlink() error on '/data/system/netpolicy.xml' 'Read-only file system' unlink() error on '/data/system/dockbatterystats.bin' 'Read-only file system' I tried to remount /data in rw using this: mount -o rw,remount /data still same issue. When I try to go fastboot mode I try to erase or flash another rom or recovery it still boots on the same broken system. It's like all I do is ignored even though it tells me "success". | No Internet but Wifi connected Posted: 06 Dec 2020 09:17 AM PST Hi guys, I have an issue with a mi10 lite I recently purchased. I can connect to my WiFi fine, and it works for a few hours but then it'll lose connectivity (it says it's still connected without problems but I can't access the Internet and WhatsApp doesn't send/receive etc). Clicking airplane mode on and off fixes it, but it's pretty infuriating as it happens multiple times a day- usually at home but has happened once at work. Any advice would be much appreciated, ease. No text notifications, and even more odd no phone notifications. The phone doesn't even alert me in any way when I have a phone call coming in. I'm using pushbullet, so if I'm at my computer I will get an alert there, but I have no way to answer it. I've checked the notification settings. Everything is on, but greyed out. Also checked message notifications, everything seems fine there. Again, will see the notifications through pushbullet. What could be going on with my phone? I have a lot of power bricks laying around, but i'm not sure what to do with them. For this I have 2 questions: 2) Can I use the same power bricks or should they all be identical in power usage? For example, i have the following: Charger 1 (wife's charger for different phone) - 3v/3a 9v/1.6a 12v/1.2a Charger 2 (car charger) - 5v/2.4a (<<only use this setting) 5v/1a Charger 3 (the one my phone came with) - 5v/3a 9v/2.0a I'm hoping its just the voltage that matters so i could keep all of these. It workt fine for months, but since a wile the AOD only works with the 2 stock themes in combination wit one of the 2 super wallpapers. When using an different wallpaper or changing the AOD style, it doesn't work properly. It is only visible for a split second when double tap the screen, so i know it is on. | music not in track order [Vivo X50] Posted: 06 Dec 2020 04:06 AM PST hey there! so the problem is as stated in the title. just got the Vivo X50, and for whatever reason, the music is sorted by alphabetical order rather than track order within the album itself. i have checked the ID3 tags are they are accurate, but the default music app doesn't seem to be able to order them by tracks. does anyone have any solutions/suggestions? or is this just how the default application works? thanks in advance!
