Does anyone else painstakingly research and fill their phone with games they never actually play

Along with books I ought to read and movies people recommend. The logic used to be for when I'm on a flight, but this year that's obviously been a lot less relevant. Not that I did much on other than try to sleep on flights anyway. Maybe rewatch an episode of futurama and order another whiskey.

And yet here I am, with a new phone, freshly filling up its larger capacity with offline available content that would make 13 year old me waiting for the bus giddy with excitement. But as an adult who drives everywhere (when he has to leave the house at all these days) there's really never a time when my phone becomes my primary entertainment device for more than 10 minutes. And I usually would spend that time answering emails.

Anyone playing Cytus 2? Amazing music and forgiving response. All around super dope if you like rhythm games and anime style.

Kung fu chess - Online real-time chess without turns

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 01:50 PM PST

Hi, I wanted to share a game I created called Kung Fu Chess on Android. I recently released an update that allows users to play multiplayer. It's an interesting twist to chess where movement is no longer turn-based but happens real-time instead. To regulate the flow of the game, chesspieces enter a "cooldown" state after movements where they can't move until the cooldown is over after a couple seconds. This type of game opens up more strategies where now you can dodge captures, anticipate/bait movements, and more! There is a video showing gameplay in the play store.

Sharing the game with hopes of getting more players! I'm in a catch 22 where you need players to fully enjoy the game in multiplayer, but the game doesn't have that many installs (just over 100 active devices). The game's concept is not new and is inspired by Shizmoo from many years ago, ported over to Android of course to hopefully revive the genre!

Enjoy and please leave any feedbacks/suggestions you may have! Thanks!

Realistic zombie survival game like Last Day on Earth but not as grindy?

    Posted: 06 Dec 2020 01:14 PM PST

As the title suggest, I'm looking for a forgiving game which isn't as grindy as LDE-Survival. I really like this genre of games and there are several clones but all are more or less the same. I'm just looking for an actual game which doesn't make you grind like crazy for just a few resources and having to do this several times throughout the day just to get an upgrade. I'm willing to pay if it's worth it. Just want an actual game rather than a money maker for devs

Any good upcoming turn based RPGs like Marvel Strike Force or SWGOH?

    Posted: 06 Dec 2020 01:01 PM PST

Looking for something new and upcoming that's turn based and similar to the two games in the title. I like being a part of games at the start and being a central part of it as it grows, I find it fun. Anything new coming up to look out for?

Team Deathmatch style pvp shooter games that doesn't involve anything that's buyable through in game currency or micro transactions other than costumes maybe. Something like pubgm Team Deathmatch, but ya know not as a game mode but as a game.

Mapping extra/uncommon buttons in Panda Gamepad Pro

    Posted: 06 Dec 2020 07:27 AM PST

I recently got the Z Fold 2 and was forced to start using Panda Gamepad Pro due to software issues involving when the phone is opened vs closed.

Does anyone know how to map the extra buttons in Panda? My FlyDigi Apex has four buttons on the back (similar to an Xbox Elite controller), extra C/Z buttons as well as 3 android buttons (home/back/menu) on the front, all of which I commonly used the button-estate for in gaming.

Sadly, Panda doesn't seem to recognize they exist when attempting button mapping, but all the standard buttons work fine.

If anyone knows of a solution to this, you would truly be saving the day. Thanks!

[REQUEST] Game like Dice Dungeon and Infinity Blade.

    Posted: 06 Dec 2020 01:45 AM PST

I played a game years ago that was kind of a combination of Infinity Blade and Dice Dungeon. It was a black and white pixel game. The goal was to either reach the top or bottom of a tower. I believe one of the first bosses was a Goblin King. When you die you start back at the beginning, but with more gold and such to upgrade your equipment. I've been raking my brain about what this game was called but I can't remember. Please help.

edit figured it out it's Tower of Fortune

    Coop local games

    Posted: 05 Dec 2020 07:39 PM PST

We have a 2019 pro shield and just ordered a 2nd gamepad. Looking to play some good retro titles with my fiance. Games where we can work together on the same screen for the common goal. Simple example is nes game Jackal. Any console the shield can emulate is fine but looking for some good suggestions. And appreciate a good story as well for more immersion. Thank you ahead of time!

Ps: huge Zelda fan if that helps lol.
