| Are there any books for moving from Java to Kotlin for Android? Posted: 06 Dec 2020 09:21 AM PST I mean a physical book, that I can hold in my hand? I keep meaning to move from Java to Kotlin but so far I haven't had a reason. With Android now Kotlin first and a dreaded null pointer in one of my Play Store apps, I think now is a time to ease myself into the language. I'd like it for some late night reading. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] | ||
| Open DialogFragment from RecyclerView Adapter. Posted: 05 Dec 2020 07:08 AM PST I have this RecyclerView Adapter whose parent is a Fragment. When a button is clicked in the RecyclerView, I want to open a dialog containing an EditText. When this dialog is dismissed I need that value from the EditText for my RecyclerView. I feel this should be simple, but I may have read too many confusing solutions. I hope you guys are staying safe. [link] [comments] |
