| GoogleTV Chromecast - Youtube app not available in your country!!! Posted: 06 Dec 2020 08:39 AM PST I bought a new Chromecast with Google TV w/ remote... I wanted to install the Youtube app, couldnt find it, when I pressed the button on the remote, it took me to the Youtube app download page, but it says that the youtube app IS NOT AVAILABLE IN MY COUNTRY (Peru). I dont understand this, I have a pixel phone and I have the app installed.. I even have the youtube app installed on my AMAZON FIRE TV STICK, signed in with my google account... And I go and buy a product from Google themselves and your own app doesnt work on your own device??????? Im sorry but that is just beyond stupid. I have so many google products, from phone to nest, to chromecasts, etc.. this so dissapointing! There is no point in using the chromecast cause I watch youtube and netflix.. I have BOTH on my firestick.. i changed to google because I have the other products and since this is your first version with a remote I decided to change my firestick for it, theres no point if Ill have to watch netflix on chromecast and youtube on firestick!!!! when I have both installed on my firestick! | Posted: 06 Dec 2020 10:13 AM PST I've also been connecting my TV with my phone via Android TV Remote, and I use bluetooth connection (because WiFi keeps finding/refreshing over and over again), and i noticed when the TV is off, LEDs stay on, and that is only time when my Phone can find the TV via bluetooth, then minute after LEDs go off by themselfs, and bluetooth connection on my phone/tv drops and TV is unable to be found. So in summary, when LEDs are on, thats when i can find TV via bluetooth. When LEDS turn off, bluetooth connection drops and I dont see my TV as bluetooth device anymore.. I have NEVER experienced anything simmilar. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
