Here are some of my offline games ( well not all are offline). These are mostly innovative and unique ones, mostly puzzles though. Kami & Duet are one of my favourites.

i keep getting these ads for a random strategy game that make it look like the gameplay is these sliding puzzles, do it in correct order etc. of course it is not, but do you know any games that actually do have that kind of gameplay? thanks

You may have recently heard of the Taiwan developed game "Devotion" being removed from Gog due to it offending the CCP. Fortunately, you can support the developer on Android- another game of there's, "Detention" is still available. We should support them to get Devotion on Android!

[DEV] Prizefighters 2 is out now on Google Play!

    Posted: 17 Dec 2020 09:24 AM PST

Hey /r/AndroidGaming! My latest game, Prizefighters 2, just released on the Play Store. It's a retro-inspired boxing game with a deeper career mode than the first Prizefighters. It contains no ads, one Premium IAP (unlocks full customization, an additional career mode, the ability to import custom leagues and fighters, and unlocks 10 career save slots), and a few IAP for in-game currency all under five bucks.

If you'd like to try it out you can download it from the link below. I look forward to reading any thoughts or feedback!

Today, Adobe Flash Player shuts down. Here's a list of Flash games ported to Android.

    Posted: 16 Dec 2020 04:04 PM PST

Throughout Adobe Flash Player's lifespan, there have been millions of unique games brought to lives of various backgrounds. Office workers, slacking students, and kids who had weak computers all gravitated towards these games as a source of cheap entertainment. Today, this purpose is fulfilled by the existence of mobile games. Much like the websites that supplied flash games (Kongregate, Newgrounds, and Armor Games to name a handful), the Play Store is full of games that range from mind-numbingly simple to exceptionally intricate.

In honor of what I consider the grandfather of mobile gaming, here's a (working) list of all the flash games that have been either ported 1:1 or improved for Android.

    • Dolphin Up - a more fleshed out port of Dolphin Jump. If you've played any of the Ecco games on the Genesis, this is kind of a callback to that. Lots of fun!

    • Fancy Pants Adventures - The first two fancy pants games as well as an entirely new game. These are some of the best platformers on mobile and deserve as much recognition as they can get.

    • Ninja Kiwi's games - Bloons series as well as SAS zombie assault 3 and 4. Bloons is a very in-depth TD and SAS zombie assault is a top-down zombie shooter.

    • Kingdom Rush - I remember the first one at least being available on kongregate for a long time. Another quality tower defense game.

    • Canabalt nearly identical to it's flash counterpart, just with some added obstacles. Flashy little office-worker-trapped-in-an-apocalypse-em-up.

    • Solipskier - An arcade skiing game where the objective is to draw hills with the objective of gaining speed and making combos to increase your score multiplier.

    • Samorost 3 - sequel to The first two games, which were flash-based. Gorgeous, wholesome adventure game.

    • Line Rider - just like the good ol days. You draw some lines and a guy rides them.

    • 10 Bullets and 10 More Bullets - You have ten bullets which you shoot at ships above you with the intent of making the biggest chain reaction possible.

    • Armor Games - I think every game they've published was originally a flash game. From Sonny to Soda Dungeon, every game is uniquely special and brought something new to the field of flash games.

    • Plague Inc. - Fun little pandemic-em-up and more relevant now more than ever. (P.S. This is the only miniclip game I'm including, as the rest are either loaded with microtransactions [cough cough 8 ball pool] or not originally flash games)

    • Powder Toy - there were a lot of games similar to this, but this has the most content afaik. Like Ms paint if gravity and elements were a thing.

    • Amateur Surgeon 4 - don't remember if the 4th one was available for flash but I know the first 3 were. You do the surgery thing to people. Amateurly.

    • Enchanted Cave and Enchanted Cave 2 - fun roguelike games. I'll leave out the details, but they're both excellent.

    • Rusty Lake (the developers) - has almost, if not all, of the Cube Escape games. You're in a room and you gotta get out of it.

    • Sierra 7 - sequel to an on-rails FPS that was revolutionary for its time. They've added a ton of stuff!

    • Stick War: Legacy - every 2000s kids' first RTS. Deploy different troops and fight your opponents.

    • Death Worm - remember Tremors? This is that. You play as a bloodthirsty giant worm, eating people and bringing down helicopters. Good fun, especially if you want to murder Kevin Bacon.

    • Burrito Bison: Launcha Libre - probably the best launching game on the Play Store. Very easy to progress without spending money. Awesome artwork, animations, and most fun out of the bunch imo (honorable mentions to Super Toss the Turtle and Homerun in Berzerk Land, the latter of which was removed from the Play Store).

    • Duck Life - you raise a duck by playing minigames. 99 cents to unlock the full version, but definitely worth it if you have a soft spot for this game like I do.

Right now this is all I can remember off the top of my head. I'll be editing the post as I think of more games. Please comment whatever I missed and I'll add that as well. Thanks for reading and I hope you find something you like!

    Text-based Real-Time Strategy Game?

    Posted: 17 Dec 2020 08:58 AM PST

I've been looking for a strategy game where you go in and perform build orders and train soldiers and then you log out for a time and the game will continue to build and train for hours and have the soldiers defend castles even when I'm not on and when I log back in, I can read the battle reports. It doesn't have graphics for the battles. I used to play a few of those games, but I cannot find them or remember the names. I would really appreciate anyone finding one of those! Thanks!

Move 'n' Bloom - it's simple but also deceptively challenging!

    https://reddit.com/link/keygqn/video/fkxom8jccr561/player

Move 'n' Bloom is now also on mobile! It's a simple but also challenging puzzle game about moving, pushing and matching colors. It combines a variety of match and Sokoban mechanics in a new and fresh way.

But at best it would be to try it out and form your own opinion. I've also build a Demo version so you can try it out.

Move 'n' Bloom on Google Play

Looking for a building game (town, kindom, whatever) with customizability

    Posted: 17 Dec 2020 02:30 AM PST

    Hello!
I've been looking for a game that lets you build something like a city or town or whatever it is but with a good bit of customizability.
Like theres lots of those games but pretty much all that I tried wont let you build what you want, but what the game tells you to build.

Blade of God 2 - Closed Beta Android Gameplay

    Posted: 16 Dec 2020 06:13 PM PST

Blade of God 2 by PG Soul Games, the sequel to Blade of God has just entered into closed beta and will last from December 11 to December 30. In this article we will discuss what exactly is Blade of God 2, what to expect from this hack and slash action RPG, the combat system, some of the game features, and how you can play the beta before it ends. Keep reading to learn more.

Blade of God 2 is a hardcore action RPG set in a Norse mythology inspired world. Players will part on a journey across mystery lands and settings while exploring further into each hero's dark lore. Players will face challenging opponents known as the 'sacrificers' whom had their destinies stripped away. Like the first Blade of God or Lost Souls, timing, evading, attacking and pure combat executions are key to survive the combat and progress through the story.

Unlike the original Blade of God, BOG2 will be completely free to play with some in-app cosmetic purchases. The closed beta starts you in a dark ruined wilderness as a dark priestess with a blade. Right away you are thrown against a large 'sacrificer' which is actually extremely strong with multiple lives, if you are defeated, you will have to start all over. With all of the auto-play and easy-play RPGs coming out in mobile lately, Blade of God 2 was truly refreshing and takes me back to a console/PC gaming experience.
