    Any games like Dead Cells?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 03:10 AM PST

I recently played Dead Cells' mobile version and absolutely loved the game, especially the artstyle and game mechanics. I'd love to check out anything similar to it. Any suggestions?

I recorded metal, stone, glass, plastic and wooden objects interacting with a metal surface. Movements include dropping, sliding, placing and picking up. I am sharing this till January 1, use code "DECEMBER100" to get it 100% off.

I made a little knife throwing game cause I love throwing knives in real life.

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 12:19 PM PST

It's a very straightforward 2D physics based skill game, but it's not one of those where you throw knives into a circle (not sure why those are so prominent). It's also different from Flippy Knife in that you have direct physical control over each throw.

I'd love to hear what you guys think! Good or bad, any feedback would be very much appreciated!
Game is called Blades Away. It's free and there's zero ads.

Free Droid Games that Dont Suck

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 10:15 AM PST

Hearthstone is cool. Im sure there are others. But really I mean the best titles that are free and aren't bogged down by IAPs or rather that are designed for fun rather than wrestling dollars from my wallet.

    Any recommended "Survival" LAN Games?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 09:53 AM PST

I've been playing Minecraft with my friend for quite a while now. I've been planning to play Terraria with him, but I'm waiting for the Android Ver. Update. So to have a new thing to mess around when- maybe when somehow got fed up in Minecraft, I'd want to play something else with him. (Sadly the Don't Starve: PE has no multiplayer opt so yeah)

Games to play with the wife?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 03:25 AM PST

    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for games that I can play with my wife. I love to play video games and am very passionate about them. My wife is not so much a gamer. But now she started to seem more interested. She played a lot of gardenscapes but lost her account now. Gardenscapes is about the difficulty level it should have...

Any suggestions on games that can be played together or in coop would be nice.

Have anyone played BT (Big Time) Gangsta back in the day? If so is there a way to play it now or even any game that's similar to it?

Big Time Gangsta was really fun unfortunately the game stopped getting updated and now it's not compatible with new Android versions.

Help finding a specific type of game

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 03:50 AM PST

I'm looking for recommendations for quite specific type of game - I don't really like playing 'big' games on my phone (Xcom, CIV etc) as I do that on my PC. Nor do I enjoy games without end - Stardew Valley, egg inc etc

Basically I like pay-once games, which I can play in very short bursts, each game lasting maybe 5 mins?

Things I've put most time into recently are Retro Bowl, Little War 2, Ultimate Jewel. I've previously enjoyed tennis or golf games, but find that they seem to be more microtransaction based now.

Probably reflects badly, but I like winning - skill is important, but anything which I can get good at with practice.

No Microtransactions if possible, but happy to pay money to remove ads or whatever.

Only against AI too, so no PVP.

Maybe a card game, but they all seem either PVP or full of microtransactions.

Any suggestions? Am I too specific?

    Thanks!

    Couples Co-op Android Game Suggestions

    Posted: 30 Nov 2020 10:28 PM PST

Looking to play something with my wife on Android.
She's not a gamer (yet), so basically nothing that requires much quick reactions or really much use of movement controls. She's had issue with basic 3D controls in the past and we ARE talking about mobile here.
She's into management, strategy, mystery, puzzle, and sim kind of gameplay. She likes planning and strategizing mostly.
She's also really into Marvel comics and some anime I can neither pronounce or have heard of, so she'd be down for whatever nerdy genre the game would fall into. She's also really into super boring adult stuff like spreadsheets and budgeting haha.
I am absolutely willing to buy a game and I would actually prefer a paid product since the F2P stuff is always such microtransaction hell and we cannot stand being assaulted by ads.

Ideally it would be something that we could play at different times throughout the day and accomplish different activities potentially so we could each fine our niche and get something out of it. Kind of like in an MMO where some people craft and other raid.

It doesn't have to be an overly complex game or anything. Hell, if House Flipper was on mobile and had multiplayer, we would definitely go get that right now. Same goes for Stardew Valley, but alas, the mobile version isn't multiplayer, which is extra lame.

We are currently playing Words with Friends 2 and its...a game haha. Its better than nothing, but is a boat load of annoying ads and isn't particularly fulfilling. We like we can just pick it up and play for a little bit throughout the day though. We have two small children, so its really hard to find dedicated gaming time like ever.

I feel like I'm reaching here and such a game doesn't exist, but I figured Id throw it out there.
Also willing to try something that's via Steam Remote Play, or Xbox Cloud Play. We have computers, we just rarely get a chance to sit down at them at the same time.

We also currently have 1 Nintendo Switch, so if there's a perfect Switch game out there, we might be inclined to get a Switch Lite.

    Let me know, thanks!

Good open world 3d games for medium spec devices?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2020 02:10 AM PST

So I played Genshin Impact some time ago, but the recent impact made it basically unplayable even at minimum resolution. So I deleted it because it was ten gigabytes. So are there any good open world 3d games for Android that can run on Snapdragon 438? I played a ton of GTA San Andreas but I just couldn't get past the horrible plane missions. I have tried morrowind, I couldn't get behind the creepy flea things. Any help would be great!
