| Posted: 29 Oct 2020 05:52 AM PDT I often end up with rather large tab sessions of that kind, and to preserve the order and organization I either need to keep the session and hope it doesn't get lost, or manually save each link on a list - lately that process has become really tiring; every browser I'm familiar with so far keeps separate lists for bookmarks and saved pages - Opera's the only one that lets you rearrange the order of the bookmarks, but not the downloads + apparently downloads of the same pages get overwritten?? Vivaldi and Kiwi don't overwrite, but don't let you change bookmark orders. So all I need is a browser where you can rearrange tabs, and save tab sessions as rearrangeable lists - or at the very least, rearrange both bookmark and offline lists + where the latter don't get overwritten; a very basic and humble set of requirements to save some time and improve organization - can it really be that no such browser exists? | Is resurrection remix worth it? Posted: 29 Oct 2020 11:02 AM PDT I'm getting a new Oneplus 8 pro and for the first time I'm going to flash a custom rom and hopefully everything goes well. I've always liked tweaking my devices and getting the most out of it and ever since I got my first tablet I wanted to root it and install LineageOS but it was a very hard device to unlock... Now I'm finally getting a phone that can easily install a custom rom AND has amazing specs I use Fedora, will Fastboot and ADB work on my system? Is resurrection remix a good long term system? Now no emojis appear in the little predictive bar at all. I only come to reddit after trying to use google fails so... yes the setting that should completely fix my problem "predictive emojis" is set to on, and was never switched off. I got a message from an interested buyer asking for the IMEI and the PCB number. The former I know is important to ask for to make sure the device isn't blacklisted, but I'm curious as to why they also wanted the PCB. Adding to my confusion is that after I provided this, the other person said they were going to purchase the phone and never followed through. Could they have wanted the info for another reason, like to spoof a stolen device as legit, or something else I'm not thinking of? [link] [comments] |

I have a newly bought Samsung Galaxy M51 and one of the system apps (the digital wellbeing app) didn't work anymore, it displayed no data and crashed a lot. Because I wanted to transfer all my data from my old phone and also had this problem I did a factory reset. The problem I've encountered now is that my phone runs significantly worse than before, apps lag and have a lot more stutters. It's not totally unacceptable but still a noticeable distraction. So I factory reset my phone two more times, but everything still runs worse. Is there anything I can do? I got a Zenphone Max Pro M1 september last year and with a couple of months of use I installed an app outside of play store and a message started appearing when I turn it on saying "Your device is corrupt. It can not be trusted and may not work properly. Press power button to continue". I unistalled that app and factory reset it and it didn't fix, I thought it was no big deal so I just kept going. On the past 3 days my cellphone turnerd off by itself a couple of times but no other unusual behaviour. I did a little research and found out that that message appears for rooted (unlocked bootloader) devices. I never intended to root it. How morried should I be? Do I have a Virus? [link] [comments] |

I've noticed that when I search for a business in Google and hit the "Call" button on the business search result that comes up, nothing happens. When I used to use Chrome, pressing "Call" on the search result would automatically open up my phone app with the phone number for the business auto-populated, which was very convenient. When I tried doing this in Google just now, it has no issues opening up my phone app with the number. Any suggestions on how I can make this happen in Vivaldi? Not a big deal, but kind of annoying. | Mobile Hotspot doesn't send data / internet Posted: 29 Oct 2020 10:16 AM PDT I have been having a problem with my Note 20 Ultra where the mobile hotspot doesn't work. What happens is that when I connect to it with another device everything seems fine but theres no internet. But it doesnt even show as no internet for example if I try to load up a webpage it will try to connect until it just gives you a timeout error. Mobile Data itself works fine and the speeds are good and when I switch the SIM back into my iPhone the hotspot works normally, also I'm pretty sure the hotspot worked before on this phone as my friend needed internet before but since then it hasn't. | Wi-Fi disconnecting - seems to be a Software issue - how can I troubleshoot? Posted: 29 Oct 2020 10:14 AM PDT For the last few months, my S10+ has been regularly disconnecting from my Wi-Fi. It might have been happening for longer but is more noticeable since I've been working from home because I use Wi-Fi calling and keep getting cut off mid-conversation. It's definitely not just my Wi-Fi as I've tested it in different locations and have the same issue. I've tried restarting my phone and clearing the cache with no luck but safe-mode seems to have no issue so I assume it's a software problem rather than hardware. The next step would be a full factory reset and restore, but is there a way I could narrow down the issue by getting access to the internal logs and seeing what's happening just before a d/c? I downloaded a couple apks of the order versions but I cant install them. Whenever i click install it just says "installing" with a progress bar and then "app not installed". I've had this problem before, and it was caused by not having enough space. But now I have 5GB free space so idk why it's not working. Does anyone know what the problem is? In one photo it looked as though a completely fake generated mouth was put over mine, and it was smiling with it's teeth when I had my mouth closed. In the other photo it looks as though I am talking but again my mouth was closed. Is it some kinda of glitch? I can link the photos through imgur, but it's really freaking me out because my mouth was completely closed when I took these photos and suddenly it's altered with a mouth that looks nothing like mine. | Shuffle/Repeat not working in car? (2016 Mazda, no Android Auto) Posted: 29 Oct 2020 07:59 AM PDT Just recently joined the 21st century and bought a 2016 Mazda, but for some it won't let me change the Shuffle and Repeat settings while using my phone for music. Works fine with a USB flash drive, old iPod shuffle, even older iPod Classic running on USB, but not on my Android phone. I can open the phone and change the settings just fine there, but not on the car. Music plays fine, and I can browse the music list on the car and skip around without issue. Only Shuffle and Repeat seem to be giving issues. Using a Moto G5s+ with Android 8.1.0. Only thing I'm running on it is Nova Launcher, and I use Pulsar for the music app with the music stored on an SD card. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
