Anyone else in awe and super happy with the current state of mobile gaming and the future of it?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 10:17 AM PDT

Idk if its because my homemade pc stopped working and I lost the magic console game had on me due to not playing with friends anymore im finding myself lost in the amount of different type of games small/big textbased/high graphics. You can pretty much find any type of game you'd like to play on the go... maybe not as immersive as pc/console gaming but still just as much fun if not more. Im finding myself using my phone at home rather than my pc or xbox or even watching TV.

And each month that passes by new games are released sometimes worse and many times better than the current/past games.

Idk if I posted in the right place but this is mostly an appreciation post to all the mobile games out there. Especially during this pandemic.

Edit: some games just need to tone it down a bit with the micro transactions/subscription/p2w stuff they got going on but with the amount of choices of games to play it isn't as bad as it used to be.

Games to play while focusing on an audiobook or a podcast?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 06:04 AM PDT

I'm looking for some games that don't require the type of attention used to focus on speach. Currently the only good game I've found for that has been "sine line".

Games like total war or crusader kings

The total war port doesn't work on my phone so anyone recommend these type of games?

    Has Grid: Autosport development stopped?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 07:22 AM PDT

The game was last updated almost a year back, and it's impossible to connect with anyone in the "Multiplayer Test" anymore. The devs (Feral) occassionally mention the Switch version on their Twitter, but even that has stopped.

Considering its pretty expensive (for mobile), I don't want to recommend something to people that might become incompatible/dated soon, even though it's easily one of the best racing games on mobile.

Why are many android games Free + Ad supported vs. the same iOS games that are Paid + No ads?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 08:35 AM PDT

I was looking at the top charts for iOS games and noticed that many of the same games that are free but ad supported on Android (i.e. Vector, Earn to Die 2, Flick Home Run, etc) are paid and ad free on iOS.

    What's the motivation behind this?

Reminder that November, particularly Cyber Monday will mean lots of sales

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 01:47 AM PDT

Every year myself and tons of others fall into the trap of wanting a new game so dropping the cash and then it goes on sale. Whilst this can happen any day of the year traditionally this time of the year is huge for sales, especially as we get closer to Cyber Monday. So if you can try and hold off on buying games at full price.

[REQUEST] Green alien-like creature on a monobike, racing game, 2D.

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 06:24 AM PDT

The creature retrospectively reminds me of Om Nom from cut the rope if he was thin.

I tried googling a lot of keywords combinations, but didn't find even an image of what I'm looking for. I remember playing it almost 10 years ago on my cousin's tablet (he doesn't remember it either :( ), it was offline racing arcade, roller-coster like track… I don't have much hope somebody even slightly knows what I mean either, as I don't remember much more of it…

I attempted to draw it if it helps somebody - https://imgur.com/a/MuRG0nx

What do you think about The Greedy Cave? It's a good game?

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 07:37 AM PDT

I played this game years ago and it was an amazing role-playing game, now I see a low Play Store rate of 3.9 and I don't know if that tame is still good.

[REQUEST] Best time-killer games to buy

    Posted: 28 Oct 2020 01:57 AM PDT

I like to play mindless games while listening to my audiobooks, but most mindless games I own are for free which means there are tons of ads. Whenever an ad plays the audiobook gets paused for 15 seconds or more which breaks from the immersion.

Games like Leo's Fortune are terrific, but they're also something of an experience (like an interactive movie) so they're not something I can just play while listening to something else. Lately, I've been playing 10000000, You Must Build a Boat and Lyne, both of which are terrific games that I can mindlessly play when I'm listening to something or I just want to kill time. Onirim is also a lot of fun and its free, so free game apps that don't have ads are also wanted. Thank you!

Just switched from iOS to Android and am looking for some good idle/afk games to play while at work

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 05:21 PM PDT

Some of my favorites include AFK Arena, Realm Grinder, and that forgotten realms one.

Games with some interaction or strategy involved would be best.

Not interested in text only based games.

If I can pay to remove ads, I will.

Is Graveyard Keeper on Android kept up to date with the Steam version?

    Posted: 27 Oct 2020 01:50 PM PDT

As the title asks. I'd love to have the game on a mobile platform, preferably my phone for the nice screen, but I'm wondering if the android version has the same content and polish as the PC version or if it's one of those perpetually never up-to-date android ports you find sometimes. Also, is there gamepad support on the android version, or the ability to edit the UI & control scheme? Thanks ahead for any responses.

Edit : Also does it support the dlc?
