    Swords of Ditto controller support?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:16 PM PDT

I see a few posts here about playing Swords of Ditto with a controller but I can't seem to get mine to work. I'm using a Bluetooth compatible Xbox one controller and it works with every other game I play but in Swords it doesn't register anything at all. I've checked through all the game settings, reinstalled the game and still nothing works.

[Request] Some good online coop games

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 11:43 AM PDT

Hi, I am normally a PC gamer, even tho my PC is ULTRA-LOW-END, and I have a non-PC gamer friend, that only has a cellphone, lives like 1350 kilometers away and wants to play some time with me.

We found some games like Dawn of Isles and Shadowgun Legends, but I thought of trying to find some more non local coop games that are easy to connect and play together.

Here we go: The games MUST ABSOLUTELY NOT BE A MOBA.(as a PC gamer with a weak PC, I've already run into League of Legends and lost my sanity throughout 6 freaking years playing that)

The games can't be online like Terraria, where you have to setup a server on your phone or PC and need to open ports(I can't open ports since my provider says that my fiber connection comes from freaking NASA so they can't just let me enter in the configs and set up ports)

Important Observation: We both have VERY WEAK LOW END PHONES since we live in a third world country, I am talking about both being Samsung Galaxy, my friend's a J6 and mine's a A01 so please no games like Genshin Impact, Teamfight Tatics or others that runs only on higher-end devices.(no need to push our poorness into our faces, we know it already.)

    Dungeon Hunter 2

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 12:10 AM PDT

    Good morning everybody!

This is my first post here and I'm looking for advice. I bought a long time ago Dungeon Hunter 2 on the gameloft shop but it doesn't exist anymore. I managed to find a version of it playable on my MI Mix2 (android Pie 9.0), but there are still some minor crashes from time to time.

I'm no expert at all on Android, but I was wondering if there were any files which can be modified in the game data (like .ini on windows) to switch some parameters to make a game more playable?

Thank you a lot for your answers, it is one of my favorite game on Android :)

    Have a good day!

    Procedure :

    1. Since the game is not available, you have to find yourself the 1.0.5 version and the game data
    2. Put the data (folder called "com.gameloft.android.GAND.GloftD2HP") in the Android --> data
    3. Install the app
    4. Immediately go in the parameters of the app, and forbid it to access the internet (both wifi and mobile network)
    5. Launch the app and it should work

[REQUEST] Fighting games with 3D cinematic view for the last attack done.

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 04:40 AM PDT

I'm okay if the game is 2D but the cinematic view is 3D. If the game has 3rd person view, that is better.

[REQUEST] Help me find an old game!

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 08:20 AM PDT

I want to try and find a game I used to play years ago, but I can't remember the name. It was a game where you built a space city. It was pixel-based with an isometric view if I remember correctly. IIRC the game was based on summoning citizens and assigning them jobs... Or something.

Best phone that will run old Dalvik games?

    Posted: 12 Sep 2020 07:22 AM PDT

So I randomly came across this video on YouTube video saying that around 2014 Android switched from the Dalvik to the ART code compiler and as a result of this there are a ton of old "abandoned" games that just will not run on new android devices. One of the ones that I purchased and never realized was gone forever was Mass Effect Infiltrator, just because I hadn't played it or even thought of the game in YEARS, like multiple, multiple phones ago. So I went and checked and yeah the game doesn't exist on the play store even though it's from a massive AAA company like EA... So I found some less than legal means of getting the app I rightfully owned and couldn't get anymore and low and behold the game doesn't play on my new, recent, phone. It just goes white screen for a couple of seconds and then the app crashes to Android.

I get that this isn't something I was concerned about before I knew about this oversight and limitation. But the reason I'm now in the market for the best phone that can run these old games is because I'm a really avid Android Gamer. I own a telescopic controller, a 256Gb Micro SD, my phone has a snapdragon 845, a 128Gb of internal storage and 8Gb of RAM, a 3200mAh battery case, and just over all the works for my phone so that I can play the best games, Android or Emulated, when ever I want, and I plan on upgrading finally once the next Samsung Galaxy S series comes out next year. So really I put a lot into being able to play the widest variety of games on my phone as possible, and finding out that some of these old, GOOD, games (Dead Space for Android, Mass Effect: Infiltrator, Chaos Rings, Nova 1/2/3, etc.) are now completely removed from my library, not only due to mass software removal from official sources, but because there is an actual device limitation is a pretty massive let down to me.

So I'm just wondering if anyone knows the best old phone to buy to be able to play these titles on? I was thinking of something like the Galaxy Note3 because it came out in late 2013, and apparently the switch happened in 2014 for KitKat. But I thought I would come here and see if I got any responses from anyone who knows for sure the best performing old phone to get for these old titles.

    SAT-Solver / Constraints-based puzzle games?

    Posted: 11 Sep 2020 06:20 PM PDT

I found out I'm really into games where I am a human SAT solver (like Picross, Rullo, Hashi but surprisingly not Sudoku). I like games where the order of execution does not matter, only the results.

Are there any other good games I should check out?
