Starting today I am giving away my Ukrainian tank game for free. Lesson learnt, don't try to sell it on Android. :/

I released my game (Stealin) back in 2016. It came to the marked with a lot of interest (1st in Poland in Strategy Games on Android, 21st in Russia, 34th in Canada and 36th in US and so on) but I made one mistake, I wanted to sell it as a premium game when you don't see any ugly ads, annoying banners and in-app purchases. I think I asked for $2.99 initially.

Soon I found out it was a big mistake. In countries like e.g. Russia, I saw 7 paid installations but 1165 users in telemetry :) Piracy is well too high on Android.

Since then I left it as paid, hoping something will change. Today I gave up, I am giving it for free.

I invested some money and over 20 months of my time to finish it. I learned a lot about Unity 3D and I even got a new job after it, so nothing is lost but that piracy on Android is impossible to do it my way.

Before Stealin, I built some other game for Windows Store (Roman Empire) and on that store selling was much easier and safer, so that was reason I was trying to do the same on Android.

Game was designed to copy what Putin did in 2014 for Ukraine, by taking Crimea. In Stealin you will steal the land like Putin did for Ukraine. Drove his tanks and took it. Stealin name = Putin + Steal

Initial version had Ukraine map and story was directly connected with Ukraine and Putin but Apple was very strict about political issues and forced me to change the whole think ;)

So, my Stealin is now free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binarybanana.Stealin enjoy if like this type of game. Maybe at least someone will have so fun for some time.

If you like the old Qix ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qix ) you might like Stealin too :)

Any games like Ulala or Idle Poring?

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 10:16 AM PDT

I first started playing Idle Poring, I sadly couldn't play further because shut down in Europe. Now some time ago Ulala came out, I really likes it in the beginning but got irritated fast from it because you need to play in a team of 4.

I am curious if anyone knows if there are any other games that share the same type of gameplay?

[REQUEST] MMORPG with a large community and a number of active players

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 08:37 AM PDT

I'm looking for an active mobile (or crossplatform) MMORPG that would have a large community and an active playerbase at any given hour of the day.

I have played countless of hours of Black Desert Mobile, which to me was interesting for a month of two after the launch but then got introduced a lot more p2w mechanics (which weren't a problem at a start) which kinda drove me and a lot of my friends off.

Right now we're playing Global version of Project V4 and it looks and feels somewhat amazing, but I'm afraid that there's just not enough content in the game to keep people interested for long enough.

The game I'm looking for would have to have an auto-play option (to play for 247 if I want to) but there should also be some rewards for you logging in and actually doing something in game. I don't mind some pay2win (I consider myself a dolphin, not a whale) but the game shouldn't incentivize you too much on spending $1k per month in order to stay up to speed.

BDOM seemed too p2w and V4 seems like there's not enough players. What now :(

New to Android. 10 hours train ride coming up. Which games should I download?

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 09:40 AM PDT

[Request] Games like NFS Underground and Most Wanted for android.

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 09:12 AM PDT

As the title says, racing games with some kind of story, but most importantly some major customisation options. I want to customise my ride any way I want and not be limited by premium currency. Also full racing, not just drag or drift racing. Any recommendations are appreciated.

    Sports/Management Games with RPG elements

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 04:38 AM PDT

I'm not a huge fan of traditional RPG's but I love having RPG elements in my sports games (unique skills, character classes, experience/attribute points, etc.). Already played kairosoft Pocket League Story 2 but shame that you need to reset it, but do you all recommend any others?

[REQUEST] Any good console port/native Android game like Ys viii/fate extella link/umbral star OR a metroidvania

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 10:35 AM PDT

I know Ys viii is working on a port but i don't think it'll be released soon (if), but I'd like a game like those above, strictly offline (it could be an RPG, musou, free exploration, along those lines). If not, I would like recommendations of a metroidvania one (I already have symphony of the night).

Those kind of genres along hack n slash are my favorites and I'm a bit sick of seeing good games with fun gameplay that are only online (my internet's not the best).

[Request] Looking for RPG where you manage parties of heroes/adventurers

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 01:06 AM PDT

I've been playing Majesty 2 and Heroes of a Broken Land on the PC and I was interested in Android games where the player can manage parties of heroes and send them on adventures. Perhaps something similar to Garrisons from WoW? It doesn't have to be that exactly though.

    What I am looking for

High fantasy setting (Orcs, trolls, magic, undead, demons, etc.)

    Recruit/Manage parties of heroes

Send heroes on adventures (perhaps fight their battles?)

    Hero collecting (if possible)

Anyone knows a good offline shooter game?

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 07:30 AM PDT

Preferably with story, but i can pass on that. I enjoyed N.O.V.A. 3 but they pulled it out for the Legacy Version. Any games like that is fine.

Help a group of online friends find a new game with lots of team based activities

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 09:41 AM PDT

We are bunch of online players who came to know each other from Lords mobile. We found out that its pure P2W , we want to move away from that and find a similar but not so much P2W game. Please suggest a good strategy game with good team effort. Heckfire is very similar to LM , but its graphics are too kidish. genre doesnt matter , If its good city/castle/hero building game with guild/team based game , please suggest.

    NO FPS games ...

" I just drive for straight 1 hour mindlessly in GTA to relax" which android game offers something like this

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 08:55 AM PDT

I see complaints like this on internet where people listen to 1 hour podcasts or something but they just don't want to sit and listen to it, they need something to do while they listen to audio and they don't want it to too much demanding so they don't have to pay much attention

Personally I do have something like that on android, I run around aimlessly in open world like travelling and burn every village I see .... That's my thing I listen to podcast, run around in map, kill some animals and shit

What other game can be used like this ?

Would you rather a game cost money up front, after you complete a demo, or free with ads?

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 04:56 AM PDT

Hi friends. I have noticed several different pay structures out there for Android games and wanted to know how you feel about each one. Please answer these questions with a RPG or similar content game in mind. (Not gacha)

Games that cost money up front are very straight forward price wise, but it's hard to get a feel for a game just by the trailer and screenshots. (Especially with how awfully some games are represented in ads)

How do you feel about games that ask you to unlock the game after playing a little? Is it sneaky or rude? Would you rather the game warn you or tell you about it before you start playing?

Gacha game with actual fun gameplay?

    Posted: 16 Aug 2020 05:01 AM PDT

Something that is actually fun to play and requires a bit of brain power to boot. You know, gameplay so good you would rarely use auto play. Unlike a certain game which must not be named.
