[Help] General Questions about Icons and Apps

Hello. I'm new to the Android world. I have an LG G8. I have downloaded Nova Launcher and a custom icon pack. I am open to a different launcher or app as needed. I am ok at tech but not brilliant at it.

I have some questions.

1) My lock screen doesn't show my custom icons,it shows the default lg icons, how can I change this? 2) My ¿recent apps? the little square in the bottom of my home bar, when I press it, it doesn't show my custom icons, it shows the default lg icons, how can I change this? 3) I've seen some themes on here that have animated wallpapers, how do I find those? Is there any all in one place for cool animated wallpapers? Are those live wallpapers? 4) Is there a way tech unsavvy people can just download one thing and get custom icons and a live wallpaper and have everything work together seamlessly? I was told google Wallpapers app was good but it just takes me to the LG Smartworld app that doesn't seem very good. 5) How do the different Kustom apps work? Do I only use one at a time? Does KLWP overwrite KWGT or do they work together? Do they work with a launcher?
