Looking for recommendations of games with nice graphics and smooth gameplay, these are my current favourites

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 10:37 AM PDT

I like games with nice graphics and good, smooth gameplay, preferably not too huge/intensive and without too many intrusive ads. Also I don't really do IAP so looking for games where purchases aren't required to progress.

Prefer no emulators or side loading. I'm a casual gamer so games I can come back to when I have a bit of time spare are ideal.

I like games with plenty of progression/challenges to complete and earn in game rewards. Or characters/vehicles/weapons/whatever to collect that help with progression.

Not a fan of fantasy/idle clickers/8 bit style graphics, and tend to like relatively simple games that I can pick up and put down.

My top played mobile games are these:

    Mario Kart Tour

Pokémon Go (if I'm out and about)

    Wordiest

    Major Mayhem (original and 2)

    Temple Run 2

    Mujo

    Tents and Trees

Egg Inc (an exception to my no idle clickers rule!)

Occasionally Wordscapes if I'm really bored.

    On PS I like Overcooked.

And on PC I used to play games like Theme Hospital, RCT, Theme Park World, Zoo Tycoon, etc.

So I guess genres I'm into are mostly logic/puzzles, word games, simple tap-and-shoot, management/building, but I'm open to suggestions from other genres.

    Thanks a lot!

Which one would you recommend between Soul Knight and Juicy Realm?

For instance Juicy Realm looks way better in terms of presentation, but does it have secret levels and all that stuff EtG has?

[REQUEST] MMO, non pay to win, non fps, and non auto play game

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 10:25 AM PDT

Looking for a game, genre isn't a major thing, to play with a couple friends. Doesn't have to be fully coop, just a game that we can at least interact with each other. We play a lot of games together... Ark, DayZ, 7dtd, Apex Legends, WoW, FFXI, FFXIV, Path of Exile, Escape from Tarkov, and countless others. Nothing on mobile seems to have any depth to it. Pay to play is fine, but we really hate IAPs for progression. Currently playing Anima, but it's single player D:

[REQUEST] Are there any games that are an MMO style hack and slash (similar to warframe but 2 dimensional or something) where you can join a squad and just ravage pve enemies?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 10:23 AM PDT

I might be expecting wayy too much from a mobile game (I come from PC), but I recently got a new phone that I believe can handle tougher to run games (Oneplus 7t). Times I'm not on my computer are spent mindlessly browsing reddit, so I'm on the search for an addicting mobile game

if my expectations are out of wack any mobile game recommendations are good :)

[REQUEST] 2D Platformer with multiple playable characters

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 10:50 AM PDT

I'm looking for a game with the following characteristics:

    • 2D

    • Platform

    • Multiple characters with different abilities (the more variety the better)

    Even better if:

    • Relaxing, not too hard to play

    • Good commands

    • Relatively light graphics

    Any suggestions?

[REQUEST] A game like The Infinite Black

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 06:31 AM PDT

Years and years ago I played The Infinite Black religiously and loved it. I decided to give it a look again after some random memories and it seems to have died off. I was wondering if there are any games out there on Android that have that heavy reliance on community and alliances. It wouldn't have to be specifically space based, but I really did enjoy the 2D strategy and granularity of gear and ships.

Is there another hidden gem out there?

I hope this hyped up Epic fortnite drama results in a mobile Epic playstore

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 08:57 AM PDT

As someone who is traditionally a pc gamer and has avoided the Epic playstore (not even claiming the free games) I think some competition on the app market would be a welcome change.

The pc market doesn't really need a new app store because generally speaking steam has the best platform and treats its customers well. I don't have a need to change and see epics playstore as bad because it is buying up exclusives and being kind of shitty from my point of view. I know why they're doing it and it's smart, I just don't want it.

With the google play store, I do not have a good experience what so ever. It allows users to break advertisement laws and give fake or misleading ads, none of the games besides like a handful of ones you pay for are good. Maybe competition would be good in this scenario. If epic payed to get a few decent real games made for the phone (which arm is very capable now days) it might actually make google do small things like letting you search for games better, or categorize them better. Hell they might actually fix core issues with their services, or even license out their own exclusive content to try to sell that google play pass.

Ketchapp Rider not working, anyone else got the same problem?

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 07:11 AM PDT

It used to work, but now that I press the screen, the bike won't accelerate or flip. I deleted it and redownloaded. It worked at first and I played a few games, but when I closed the app and came back later, it had stopped working again.

Trying to remember an old game

    Posted: 15 Aug 2020 06:53 AM PDT

Hi guys. I'm trying to remember an old android game where you basically tap numbers in a grid until they reach 4 with a timer. There are also some kind of power ups like freezing the countdown timer.

Simple solution to remap keys (CapsLock to Escape key if using Bluetooth keyboard, for example)

    Posted: 14 Aug 2020 08:30 PM PDT

I am playing The Outer Worlds right now through Moonlight on my Samsung tablet and I had one annoying problem, I could not use the escape key on my bluetooth keyboard to exit menus as it is hardcoded to BACK instead of Escape in Android.

So I found this little program that solves the whole problem and is super simple to set up: https://github.com/ililim/dual-key-remap

I just run that program on my desktop before playing Outer Worlds and then close the program after I am done. My only complaint is that the program has no icon in the taskbar when running so I have to shut it down through task manager. Otherwise it is perfect.

I mapped my `~ key to Escape but you can do pretty much any key on the keyboard or even a combo like alt+1 or something.

I hope this helps someone. Happy streaming and gaming everyone!
