Nearby Share just came back for me. Posted: 29 Jul 2020 10:16 PM PDT It wasn't working earlier, but when I turned my screen on just now it popped up unprompted. Now the quick settings toggle works again too. Edit: and it's gone again. Sorry. [link] [comments]

Google Spain made a jump start on Pixel 4A Posted: 29 Jul 2020 07:11 AM PDT I think that the post regarding an August 3rd release date seems to be correct as Google Spain made this post yesterday. I can see just the title and "Posted by SoAndSo of SoAndSo team" but I think this just confirm release date is quite near. [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Jul 2020 02:21 AM PDT It's been nearly 4y since the inception of Picture in Picture in Android. When I first got my hands on the feature, I instinctively thought the window would be resizable. But it wasn't. Then I thought we'd get it in the next Android update. I was again disappointed. It's been a handful of android updates, yet no resizable window. iOS 14 which now supports PIP, is supporting resizing since the inception. That's something that Android, I guess, should be ashamed of. Imagine if you can play a video at the width of your screen... How cool and useful it'd be. I wish we can somehow get Google / OEMs to implement this. [link] [comments] |
