[Request] Help finding a now defunct game.

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 09:49 AM PDT

Edit #2: the character design looked a lot like this screenshot. Not Monkey Island.

Edit #1: It looked like this screenshot; with the gems below and the fight happening above. But naval themed.

    Hello,

I really dont know why (maybe a quarantine mindset, maybe to search for something similar from the devs) but I'm searching for a game I used to play until 3 years ago which is now defunct. Some infos about it are as it follows:

    • Orientation: Portrait
    • Genre: Puzzle
    • Style: Match 3/ Chain Gems
    • Artwork: 3D/Cartoonish

    • Infos: I remember it being kinda pirate themed game, you would assemble your party with different types of characters with different styles/boosts and they would attack in turns depending on your gem chain; sometimes the chain would link to another panel. I really liked the artwork, the characters were really interesting and well made as their classes. Some would attack with swords, others with guns, others with bombs. MAYBE the devs were Russian.

Anyway, I'm sorry to ask for a defunct game but it's like those thoughts that you can't get it out of your head, Haha.

If I remember anything else the post will be updated.

    Thanks in advance.

    [REQUEST] space-faring, economy-focused (no PvP), city/world builder/developer game

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 07:13 AM PDT

[REQUEST] tldr: I really like Elvenar and now I'm looking for space-faring, economy-focused (no PvP), city/world builder/developer game.

I play InnoGames' Elvenar and I thoroughly enjoy it but I'm looking to add another, similar game with in a space-faring setting. My main problem is, I can't seem to find one.

The primary thing I like about Elvenar is the absence of PvP. I've played Forge of Empires and Game of Thrones: Conquest and spent countless hours and some of my own cash on those games but eventually got sick of constantly having to either protect myself from farmers or spend time earning the protection of an alliance. Quite frankly, I got sick of it when it started feel like a job so that's when I jumped to Elvenar and it's been great, especially since my fellowship is pretty laid back. Now, I'd love to find a space-faring game with a similar absence of PvP. Suggestions don't need to be free.

Here is my "big three wishlist":

    - space-faring

    - no PvP

    - city/world developer/builder like Elvenar as opposed to something like Star Traders

Games I've looked at with no luck: Nova Empire, Second Galaxy, Stellar Age, Battlevoid: First Contact, and others I don't remember. I've also played Terragenesis at length.

    Thanks!

[DEV] Guess Picts Location - Geography quizz

    Posted: 03 Jun 2020 12:00 AM PDT

    Hi,
I would like to share with you my first mobile game for Android. It's a quiz game to test your geographic knowledge. From a picture, you will have to guess the right location. Each location is different so I'm pretty sure you will discover lot of new locations around the world.

There are 16 quizzes available right now from 19 planned. It mean there are already 320 locations to discover.
An important functionality of my game is that, for each location, you can explore them in 360° or Street View mode once you finished a quiz.

Thanks you. Hope you will have fun.

    * You can get it on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amandin.guesspictslocation

Looking for asynchronous games that can be enjoyed by people evenly regardless of intelligence or education

    Posted: 02 Jun 2020 11:51 PM PDT

So I've been playing various games with my girlfriend but she always quits after half a dozen matches because it's pretty clear she's not going to ever win. But if I go easy on her she knows and she gets mad. I don't care if I win, I just wanna have fun playing games with my girl. But it's only really possible if she's got a chance, cause losing makes her feel dumb and I wanna avoid that.

So scrabble like games are right out, as are any strategy games. I was hoping there was a game where you draw something cause she's a much, much better artist than I am. It'd be nice to have her on the other side of the skill fence for once.

Some good and fun games you can play with a gamepad.

    Posted: 02 Jun 2020 05:59 PM PDT

It can be anything like Arcade games, RPGs or FPS games as long as they're fun enough for anyone to get hooked on.

I would like some racing games though.

They can also be free or paid.
