Any browser app that has homescreen shortcuts on the leanback launcher?

Need something that works similar to chrome's add to homescreen. And would love if the webpage runs without much of the clutter like address bar etc. Like a proper app. Thanks!

How to clear all running applications with a button?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 07:40 AM PST

I have a MI Box S with the android tv 9, but I couldn't find a way to "clear all" running application on this device. All I can do is to go to info section of each app and click on "Force Stop".

I also installed "button mapper" app, but there is not a "clear all" action in its options.

Is there any way to clear all running apps with a single action on this device and android tv 10?

Trying to set up video conference on sony android tv, doesn't recognize USB camera

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 02:34 PM PST

So I've been trying to make my Sony xg9505/x905g android tv work with trueconf for video conferencing. It works well setting up the calls but obviously needs a camera for video calls. I got the Logitech c930e which is recommended by trueconf and tried to set up the call but it didn't recognize the camera. I think this is a TV issue, not a trueconf issue. What's also interesting is that the TV does recognize the camera's microphone, it just refuses to work with the camera itself. Does anyone here have any experience with this sort of setup?

Android tv not able to detect hdmi input after latest update

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 12:49 PM PST

I have a Xiaomi mi laser projector running android tv, today an update started (without even asking permission).

After that I had some problem with the audio from the hdmi input, after a while of messing arounf with no success I turned everything off and came back some hours later.

At this point not only I don't have audio but also video is missing.

The issue is not in the cable or the source of the hdmi (i tested them and those are not the problem)

I even whent for a factory reset with no luck. Has anyone experenced this?

Record content on an HDMI input - App suggestions

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 04:17 PM PST

Have a Sony Android TV. I get basic cable via a really old school cable box that is plugged into HDMI input. Are there apps out there in the Google Play store that can stream/display TV that comes in via that port? Something with a better TV guide and possible DVR features?

    Generic remotes for AndroidTV?

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 09:04 AM PST

I dont like the remote that came with my HiSense TV

it is unnecessarily big ...not sure why it has the digits 0 to 9. I have no use for channel up and down buttons etc.

is it possible to buy a smaller generic remote for android TV? ..closer in size to a Roku remote or Firetv remote?

i understand the original remote comes with google assistant microphone...though i don't use it much it would be good to have as well

Just bought a Mi TV box 3.. can anyone tell me a use for it before I sell it.

I heard they were great and you can get free TV channels and stuff. I'm sure there's a way but can't find how. As far as I can see it's pretty much just a chromecast with a remote.
