This happened around 3am Thursday, went away randomly until I went to bed. Since Friday morning, it's been slow again. I haven't installed any apps for a few days. | Flash bootloader, does it wipe? Posted: 12 Jan 2020 04:37 AM PST I have a s7 and for whatever reason I woke up one morning and it wouldn't turn on even though it was on when I last checked on it. Held the power button and it says bootloader error ever since. I have been googling stuff and I can't enter recovery mode. It seems my OS is corrupted or something. Anyway I plan to flash bootloader with Odin. I'm reading that flashing a rom different than the one i'm currently using will wipe my phone. I'm not sure if bootloader is considered a rom but could someone tell me if flashing bootloader will wipe my phone. My only other option after is to take it to a data recovery business and they charge a lot. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 12 Jan 2020 05:19 AM PST Lockscreen notifications don't expand On a OnePlus 6T running Android 10, OOS 10.3.0 I can temporarily expand them by dragging down, but they don't stay down - thus I am not able to use media controls, reply to messages, etc. I've tried double tapping, tapping the little arrow at the top right of them, and dragging to expand. All of these used to work before I updated to A10. Anyone else have this issue / know how to fix? Thanks [link] [comments] |

Now cant install /connect to my Huawei Watch GT. I installed (from Playstore) "Huawei Mobile Services" and "Huawei Health" App. When i open Huawei Health, following error appear: "This app requires access to Huawei Mobile Services. Please allow Huawei Mobile Services to run in the background or be launched by another app." I have given all permissions( Do not optimize the app, run in background). | Issues with reconnecting Samsung Watch Active 2 after losing connection with android phone Posted: 12 Jan 2020 12:29 PM PST Hello, I recently bought a Samsung Watch Active 2 and am using it with a Nokia 7.1. The phone is not a supported device according to Samsung but most things seem to be working well exept for one major issue. When the device loses connection because of a distance between the devices, it does not automatically connect. I think I have found a similar problem in a lot of forums with some possible solution but none seem to work. My phone finds the device and it even says it is connected, but I have to click on it and than click on connect before there is an actual connection, like illustrated in the album in this link: https://imgur.com/a/IUC2qen I have tried unpairing an re-pairing devices two times with no effect. I have tried playing around with an app "Bluetooth autoconnect" and have tried to do some things with the "Tasker" app but nothing seems to work. Does anybody have any clue how to solve this issue? Does anybody know what the two stages of connection are, maybe than I can better find a solution. In the pictures the device is "connected", but I still have to click "connect", so android simultaniously uses the word connect for two different things, which makes it very difficult to google solutions). Now all my important silient notifications are on the bottom, and the obnoxious steady notifications like for my VPN are at the top. I am becoming more privacy conscious. Thankfully, the phone I have came with mostly stock Android. I'm slowly tweaking the settings to maximize privacy. So far, I've installed Firefox and F-Droid. I also haven't signed onto Google since I bought the phone. For the existing apps like Chrome, Duo, Facebook, Maps, Play Store, etc, I'm trying to do all I can to minimize their footprint. | HELP! How to install Android 6.0.1 on Nexus 7 2013 - MacOS? Posted: 12 Jan 2020 08:35 AM PST Hello! I have an old Nexus 7 which I am selling and need to revert back to stock Android (6.0.1 is the latest version it will run). I currently have LineageOS installed and do have some experience in using Terminal on Mac to flash OS images as well as sideloading software updates. However, I'm having some issues trying to install the factory image of Android back onto my Nexus 7. I have followed a bunch of different guides online, but I can't install the image. adb reboot bootloader works fine, and the device shows up in Terminal when adb devices is run. I have downloaded the factory image from Google, unzipped it and placed all files in one folder on my desktop. The bootloader is unlocked on the device also. All Fastboot commands return a "no such file or directory" line, and after which, adb devices no longer show the device connected. Is anyone out there able to help with this? | Posted: 12 Jan 2020 08:21 AM PST so I had 3 documents saved in the file manager app on my Oppo AX7. ended up snapping the thing in half when I was drunk. don't really care about anything else on the phone as I've already upgraded to a Xiaomi mi 9 lite (not important) but I just realized that my phone held my only copies of those 3 documents and I'm trying to figure out if it would be possible to salvage them? or at least my notes which have my login and password to where the originals are. | trouble with Google maps system integration Posted: 12 Jan 2020 12:02 PM PST Hello everyone, I installed LineageOS on my phone including the Google Apps package. I'm having a problem with the way Google Maps behaves. The "navigate in App" button in the Google Maps web version opens "Google Maps Go", the light version. But this app is not listed in my installed apps. In the app store I can install or uninstall it, but it changes nothing, it apparently now always remains in my system. Originally when I pressed the button I got prompted to install "Google maps Go" which was irritating since the installed version of Google Maps is capable of MORE than Go. When I "rightclick" a google maps link and select "open in Maps" it is opened in the correct Maps product, the full version. But sometimes I have to paste a url into the browser and use the button of the Google maps web site. Now how do I make the "navigate in App" button use the full version, not the go version, or better: get rid of "Google maps Go" entirely? [link] [comments] |

Been noticing since a few weeks, my ringtone and notification tone have gone away. And by gone away I mean literally gone away. But interestingly when I am in safe mode or the Samsung's ultra power saving mode every thing's fine. I can't figure out for the life of me what's wrong. I don't wanna reset my phone. For example i have a game that is around 400 mb and even if i move the app to sd card it still takes up around 300 mb on the internal storage. (Ik some data needs to be on the internal storage) Is there a app which completely lets me switch apps to sd card without root? [link] [comments] |

I no longer have access to the email to reset the password. Thing is, password is not even the problem; it's the nickname... | Something simulating Home gesture? Posted: 12 Jan 2020 10:37 AM PST I've been having an issue where occasionally, when I'm in an app or game, all of a sudden I'm sent back to my launcher. I have also seen it when I'm on my launcher it'll take me to my "Home" page (using Nova). What would be the best way to figure out what is causing it? I'm guessing something is sending the Home gesture but it's definitely not me. I did have the Nova beta installed but reverted to original thinking it might be a bug but that hasn't resolved it. | Posted: 11 Jan 2020 04:46 PM PST I have the Glab controller connected to my Note 10+, but the PS4 remote play app specifically only allows for dual shock 4s to work. I don't know if this is a real issue or just a block Sony out in, especially because it isn't an issue for the Windows app of remote play and every other game streaming apl works with the controller (Shadow, GFN, etc). Is there a way to trick the app, or even my phone, into thinking I'm using a DS4? Just be a lot more convinient. Thanks [link] [comments] |
