Posted: 03 Dec 2019 03:04 PM PST So I have Nvidia Shield TV 2017 and the Play Next doesn't work for Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Hulu. It works for Disney+ and the service just launched. [link] [comments]
YouTube update broke the system ? Posted: 03 Dec 2019 08:57 PM PST I started TV today to watch some stuff before going to work. I've noticed that YT updated itself (which reminded me that I saw Google store popup on my phone that YouTube app is awaiting for an update) After that weird shit started. YT closed itself when I was watching a video and TV switched over to Kodi (which was already started as I launched it before YT). I closed the Kodi and went back to YT only to see same thing happening but this time TV opened Google play app that displayed me the logo and "searching for signal" whole something was played in the background. I closed the app, manually stopped all three of them from the options and turned off the TV. Upon relaunching the TV it didn't even started on TV signal as usual but instead it right away fired off the Google play app with the same msg but nothing being played in back. I closed the app and suddenly the menu sound (the one being made when you scroll through stuff) was much louder even tho I have not changed the overall TV volume (was set low to smth around 12-15) I don't have time to investigate what the actual fuck is going on as I have to go to work soon but I figured I will ask here as I have no idea what just happened and maybe someone had similar weird stuff happening after their YT app updated lately If that matters the TV is an TCL C70 series Never had any weird behaviour like this EDIT: quick edit. Same thing happened (Google play opened at start) and upon going to the main screen I've noticed that Google play replaced the "TV". As in it no longer showed the TV but rather "Google movies" text on the usual blue background box. I disabled the app for now and using the input menu at top switched to TV. Now it still says Google movies on that TV box but after clicking it actual TV signal launches. Turned the TV off, turned on again and it properly starts on TV and Google movies logo is no longer there on the TV icon. Maybe it was Google play update that broke stuff ? Not sure if it updated along YouTube as I don't have its icon visible on home screen Going to work now, will check YouTube one I get back and see if it will act by itself again Quick edit 2: also does anyone know how to turn off navigation sound in menu ? There are no sound options in settings. [link] [comments]
Is Xiaomi Mi Box S doing well now? Posted: 03 Dec 2019 04:04 PM PST Planning to buy a Mi Box S as I dont have enough budget to go for the Shield. How's the bugs? Are they already fixed like no more 4K streaming issues? No more frame rate drops? [link] [comments] |
