| How to force highest resolution on Mi Box? Posted: 30 Dec 2019 05:24 AM PST I have Xiaomi Mi box, 4k TV and 1080p projector. When I set 4k resolution for my TV and change to projector Mi box goes to 1080p 50fps (instead of 60fps) and when I have enabled auto change rate in Kodi it stays in that resolution on 4k TV. I have tried auto res but it gives 720p for TV. I that aby way to force Mi box to set highest available resolution? [link] [comments] |

| Developer with spare time looking for ideas Posted: 29 Dec 2019 12:18 PM PST I'm a developer and I've been thinking for some time now to create an app for Android TV. I'm really eager to do something for my TV but I don't really have a need that makes me advance in this. So, I'm here to ask for any ideas that you would like to have in your TV. It can be a game, or an info app, an app that deals with video would be a little harder for me, but I can give it a try too. Maybe a game you can play connecting your phones? Something with maps? | Posted: 29 Dec 2019 05:31 PM PST Just got a Philips 4K TV for Christmas. I am not an android user otherwise, so I'm not super familiar with the OS. But this is super buggy. I will try to turn the volume up/down and it won't respond for 15 seconds if at all. The video lags almost all the time. Any way to fix it? Could I downgrade to a older but more stable version of the OS? I just want a functional TV. ETA: not sure why I'm getting downvoted. Just genuinely asking for help. [link] [comments] |
