| Amazon Prime app showing everything but not loading Prime video original content Posted: 18 Nov 2019 01:03 AM PST Hi all, I just got my first smart TV, a TCL with android TV and chromecast built in (i know they have Roku in the US but in Australia they all come with Android TV for some reason). I was surprised not being able to find the Amazon Prime Video app on the play store, but eventually I read how to download it with Aptoide and installed the latest version. It's working well, just the Amazon Prime original content is not playing (it's loading for a bit and then give me an error message), each and everyone of the shows. Which is frustrating cause i was excited about the new season of The Man in the High Castle. But anyway, anyone knows if it's a common problem and it's possible to resolve it? It's releated to the 4k format of the shows or it's the TV? Thanks! [link] [comments] |

I have been looking at bluetooth speakers instead and I was wondering if there were any which I can control from my TV remote once it's connected to the TV? | Posted: 18 Nov 2019 06:44 AM PST Hi all! I got a new TV, the TLC with Android on it. I turned on HDMI-CEC but it does not work on my Playstation 4. The settings on my Playstation 4 is good, because it worked on my previous Xiaomi TV. On Apple TV and Roku, they are in 4K using FOXNOW app and Prime Video app. I tried this past Thursday on my Nvidia Shield TV, but didn't see any logos for 4K like the ones that appear on Apple TV and Roku. But not being able to turn it off from a remote, at least not easily, and that LibreELEC has freeze problems on the Pi4 that I have not been able to solve, I was wondering if there is an alternative for an Android TV box that I can purchase. Requirements are Kodi, 4k, HDR, NTFS (USB) capable, and that I can turn off with a remote. Any recommendations? I don't mind buying from Aliexpress, however, I am in Germany currently. Thanks. We currently have a a first generation Chromecast connected to the TV and we dedicated an old tablet to cast Disney+ from. However, it is a little complicated for the kiddos to navigate. | How to install Android 9 beta builds on the Mi Box S Posted: 17 Nov 2019 10:29 AM PST Warning: This is ONLY for the Mi Box S, do not attempt to install on the original Mi Box. Once you complete this process you CAN'T go back to the previous Oreo firmware.
a) Disconnect the Mi Box S from the outlet. b) Put the remote as close as possible to the device, press and hold at the same time the "center" button and "back" button, connect the Mi Box S to the power outlet and wait until it enters to recovery mode. c) If your device is still under Oreo, you MUST first reset it to factory settings, so first select "Wipe data/factory reset" and then "Wipe cache partition", if you are already under any Pie beta you don't need to reset it, just follow the steps below. d) Select "Apply update from EXT" and finally "Update from udisk", hold on until the firmware gets installed. e) When it's done, select "Reboot system now" and wait until the device reboots, it takes some time to complete the loading process though.
