[REQUEST] Looking for a certain monster collector game someone on reddit recommended once.

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:12 AM PST

It had hundreds of monsters to collect, it was pixel art, it was apparently large with randomly generated dungeons and had a lot of replayability and lasted you a good while. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I was at work and I guess I forgot to save the post and write it down cus I'm a dumbass. Does anyone know of this game?

    Thank you

I can't be the only one..

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 09:12 AM PST

    On google play there are ports for the first 5 Wizardry games, the porter is Japanese and they have been translated (poorly, but its kinda charming) into English. I can't be the only English speaker one looking to play through these games, a search showed one gentleman in the USA who was blogging his play-through, Here. Anyone else have a source for information? Really what I would like to hear is that there is someone who has played this ported series and speaks Japanese and English and wouldn't mind posting some answers to obvious questions;

The Bard class was added to the port, other then being able to use the instruments you find, do they get any other abilities?

With how many things were changed from the port to the original, did any of that affect how useful class switching is?

Edited to add that its called Wandroid in the playstore.

Can't connect DS4 to A50, and Xbox One S controller lags. Looking for help and advice.

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 06:53 AM PST

I want to play games on my phone with a controller, but it doesn't seem to want to work for me. I've tried using a newer model dualshock 4 with the light bar on the touchpad, it connects but is completely unresponsive, from what I read this is common. But I also have an Xbox One S controller, it also connects but lags like crazy and I don't know why since it seems that it should work well from what I've read. It seems that every 5 to 10 seconds it disconnects and my controller will start drifting or I won't be able to jump, or perform any action for a second or so, then it will work again just fine for 5-10 seconds, and then stop working, rinse and repeat. I tried turning off location scanning for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and that didn't help. I don't know what to do at this point.

I'm also new to Android, so I really don't know what's good and what isn't. But I was looking at some OTG cables and I'm a little confused, because I see a USB port and then I see a Type C port on the other end of the OTG cable, so on top of that I would need another cable to connect the OTG to my controller? Or should I just buy a controller made for gaming? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I'm pretty frustrated at this point because gaming and emulation was one of the reasons why I switched over from iPhone. Thank you.

Any controller that comes with button mapping?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 04:40 AM PST

Hi, I wanted to ask you guys if you know about any controller, which comes with some kind of button mapping app? I know there are several button mapping apps, but none of them has a good rating. I am looking to buy a GameSir G4s, but I don't want to be unable to play games which don't have native controller support.

[Request] Are there MMOs similar to WoW/OaC1&2 that are good?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 11:39 AM PST

as the title states I'm looking for an MMORPG in the same flavor as WoW. I know about the Order and Chaos series, but they seem buggy as well as super dead. Anyone have suggestions? I'm planning on playing on my Moto Z3 Play, so anything that phone could handle would be cool. Controller support would be nice too. So, whatcha got guys? I have a MMORPG itch to scratch!

Is there any good racing simulator that isn't a big pay to play money grab (ex: Real racing or GT racing 2)?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 07:45 AM PST

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind spending a few dollars on a great game, but those games I cited would be a matter of a couple dollars about every times I would like to play a few minutes. These are well made quality games but they're crippled with micro transactions crawling all around. Plus it seems like not only is it pay to play, RR3 for example seems to be rigged against you, since the CPU players you're racing against seem to completely ignore your existence. They will ram you in the walls and out of the track, destroying your car and all the "stamina" it had before you need to put some real time waiting for it to be repaired, or pay more to play.

I finally hit over 10 dollars of opinion rewards! I have a question about searching the store!

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 11:16 AM PST

So I finally hit over 10 bucks on the play store and I have no idea what to spend it on, does anybody know if it's possible for me to sort by portrait/landscape modes in the store?

Also wonder if anyone has any reccs on something to get? I have previously sank a crap ton of time into WWE Supercard, Clash Royale and have always been a card collector/monster breeder fan eg. Monster Rancher/Pokémon/Gwent:

    Needs to be portrait

Needs to be bite size like a game or two of clash royale but also able to be played for a longer time

As few IAPs as possible if I'm buying it outright

Some kind of online multiplayer aspect, I love working with people against others or putting my collection against others.

I want to be able to just peruse myself but can't find a portrait only setting anywhere so thought I'd ask for reccs at the same time. Thank you.

[REQUEST] XCOM style game with real time combat?

    Posted: 23 Nov 2019 10:47 AM PST

Hi all, I'm looking for a game similar to XCOM enemy unknown - the resource management (base management is also cool), the top down view and the squad customisation are sweet features, but I prefer real time combat than turn based.

Are there any games out there like this? I'm not particularly bothered by game setting.

    Thanks!

    Simple games for my grandma?

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 11:07 PM PST

Hello everyone, Just wanted to ask if there are any good games for my grandma to play, She's not very familiar with ads and stuff so when playing on her phone she sometimes still accidentally taps on ads. She mostly likes playing simple puzzle games like Block Puzzle and Move the Block so I was hoping if there are any games like those without the ads but with also a simple concept for her to learn the game easily, Thank you and apologies if my english is a bit off

The Change the Game Design Challenge offers a $15K scholarship to teenagers who build games. This years 5 finalists are featured on the Play Store. Regardless of whether you're the target audience for these games, it's pretty rad that these kids are making and *finishing* games.

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 03:24 PM PST

There's like a million word games in play store but I remember this one a few years back that I like. It's a word game with like a mining / brick theme? Like half word search half Minecraft or break out.

Anyone knows what I'm talking about? Thanks

Looking for a Android game to play with Friends

    Posted: 22 Nov 2019 02:20 PM PST

Looking for an Android game to play with friends and like. We did really like rise of kingdom bit I unfortunately got bored of all the qeue time and long maintenance of the city. Felt more like a chore in the end. And of we paused we got really far behind and couldn't really do events since they are alliance based.

Dragalia lost was fun but a little to much of an grind for my friend.

I don't really know what were looking for but maybe something turn based or like city builder but you can help each other.

I can think of many other games not just on phone. But we would like something more on the go.
