Second Galaxy is out now, and seems pretty fun! Anyone else playing? Posted: 13 Nov 2019 06:39 AM PST New online space sim Second Galaxy is out now, started playing yesterday. My first impression: Graphics are pretty stylish, enjoying the classic "humans are space faring, but almost got wiped by aliens for faring too far" trope. Skills and leveling up seem pretty extensive, I've only played for a couple hours and am still learning all the ins and outs. Definitely not a replacement for EVE Online, but feels pretty similar. Feeling very much like EVE on-rails though. No free roaming space exploration like Galaxy on Fire, better combat and less 'gatcha' than Nova Empire. I recommend it! Posted: 12 Nov 2019 12:48 PM PST I like games like: Raid Manager Ulala Like a Boss However, I want a game that I can check in on periodically throughout the work day (like Ulala), and where it plays itself (Ulala/Raid Manager). I also like RPG aspects (Ulala/Like a Boss). I would also like it to have western graphics (I'm personally not a fan of anime-like art in games). Raid Manager is a good example of what I'm looking for, but I would like more control over the character's appearance as you progress.
