    Hi everyone, I have a Sony A80J with Google TV and I'm trying to hook up my surround sound system via USB but so far I had no success. Does anyone know if I have to use a specific USB port or enable a certain setting? (Or am I SOL)

    What would be the best Android TV box, my budget is somewhat flexible, but I don't want to pay $200 for nVidia Shield Pro.

    I will connect it to LG CX, so 4k and HDR, Dolby Vision, and Atmos are a must.

    Sound cracking through Mimi Sound Personalization

    I have a Philips the one 2021 android tv and notice a lot of cracking/stuttering in the sound when using a pre-installed program called Mimi Sound Personalization. The tv sounds so much richer with it on, but the little cracking/stutter comes with it. Is there any way I can fix this or is there maybe another app/setting to get the same/better experience?

    CCwGTV CEC control

    Just enabled CEC control so the Chromecast can turn the TV on and off, because IR was getting annoying. But it only works for turning off. When the TV is off and i press the power button on the CC remote, nothing happens, same for input or any of the buttons.

    Is this normal or should the CC be able to turn the TV on as well as off via CEC?

    4k stutter on YouTube

    Hi while I was testing some 4k content on my 4k andoird tv while using YouTube I notice it stutters on certain 4k videos anyone else has that issue? Suggestions are welcome. Also should I just get a external android TV box? Like a nividia shield or roku?

    Onn Watch Stick Specs

    I am simply trying to find the actual specs for the Onn Watch Stick, like what you would get from AIDA64.

    I currently have the Onn Watch 4K Box, Fire TV Stick Lite & Fire TV Stick 2nd Gen.

    I'm just curious how the Onn Stick compares to the Fire TV Stick Lite but I can't seem to find specifics like Bluetooth 4.0/5.0, etc.

    Can't get Verizon stream TV to connect to PC vis USB

    I have enabled Developer options and MTP but my pc still doesn't see the device. I am trying to run ADB to get rid of the bloatware and install a spectrum tv app (it says the app is unavailable). Also is there a way to just root it?

    I've got a screen-broken S8+ from a friend of mine and I was messing around with it to use it as a setup box for my non-Smart TV, I've tried using Samsung Dex but it's not that User Friendly ( I want my parents to use it easily)

    I have noticed that different movies have different profile formats.

    I was going to ask if these profile formats are the same!

    Main 10@L5.1@main

    If not, then what is the difference, and which one is the best?

    Because this is the only solid reason I have had as the conclusion of why some 4K web-dl movies stutters and gets pixelated.

    Because I do know I have watched a 4K web-dl SDR with 24,6 Mb/s bitrate, and I thought that maybe that movie file worked flawlessly just because the profile format was higher, so it could handle a higher bitrate but at the same time work fine.

    I also wanna note that these movies I am talking about have been played directly from a external HDD, but I have now switched to a new external SSD (which is much faster). The same thing with bitrate and everything I wrote goes with the SSD.

    But then I wonder, why did a 4K HDR web-dl movie with these specs work directly from my slower HDD?:

    Format : HEVC Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding Format profile : Main 10@L5@High HDR format : SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible Codec ID : V_MPEGH/ISO/HEVC Duration : 2 h 43 min Bit rate : 14.3 Mb/s Width : 3 832 pixels Height : 1 596 pixels

    I'm so sick of trying to get the YouTube app to work for my needs. It is almost comically bad with suggestions, recommending something I watched literally 10 minutes before or stuff that is completely unrelated to what I'm watching (like yes I looked up a recipe one time, I don't want to watch that all the time now!) Plus the UI is not built for playlists at all. If you want to scroll through a Playlist, it always starts at the beginning. If you want to search, it takes you out of the video.

    SmartTubeNext can't create new playlists?

    SmartTubeNext shows two ways to create a new playlist, that I'm aware of. 1) ""Add this video to new playlist" by long-pressing on a video (before it plays) and 2) "Create playlist" by long-pressing on the Playlists section in SmartTubeNext's main menu. Neither of these methods work.

    To confirm, this is a known issue? Is it a current limitation of the YouTube API? If so, why is the option shown?
