Dragon Quest: Builders now available on Google Play Store

    Posted: 26 May 2022 11:23 AM PDT

Do I need to install an APK instead of going through the play store to get a different region's game?

    Posted: 26 May 2022 04:51 PM PDT

Hi, I've been living in South Korea for years now so I have a Korean sim/phone number, but my Google Play account is from when I made it back in America. A global version of a Korean game recently came out (Counterside) and I want to give it a try, but when I try to download I have the Korean version.

Will getting an APK of the global version and running it on my phone work, or will it try to install the Korean version? Is there a different method I can use to ensure I get global? I'm currently at work so I can't try my idea but I figure you all would know more than me so I came to ask the experts. Thanks~

[REQUEST] Racing game as close to Asphalt as possible

    Posted: 26 May 2022 06:09 PM PDT

Single/Multiplayer: must have singleplayer, can have multiplayer

    Genre: arcade street racing

    Online/Offline: any

Monetization/Cost: either free-to-play or paid are fine, it shouldn't just have excessively predatory monetization methods.

Portrait/Landscape: preferably landscape but I'm open to original portrait takes.

Key Features: reckless urban and wilderness illegal street racing, on circuits and not in an open world, environment destruction, shortcuts, and satisfying gameplay.

Any additional info/details/similar games: Mustn't have any fuel/energy system; what I want in short is a game as close to the Asphalt franchise as possible, without it being the Asphalt franchise itself.

    my little universe alt?

    Posted: 26 May 2022 08:50 PM PDT

I enjoy the idea of my little universe and love the fact that it's portrait. Are there any good alternatives to it? The amount of adds is ridiculous and it feels like there should be a be more going on aswell. Any suggestions for somthing similar?

    Console quality games on Android?

    Posted: 26 May 2022 12:13 PM PDT

What I mean by that is, fully immersive,no IAP and controller support. I really enjoyed dead cells and stardew valley so, recommend me some more ( not only pixel themed games) under 15$. Open to emulators as well, but I get overwhelmed by choices available so if, there's must play emulation game I would check it out too. (SD 855)

    Android gaming is great!

    Posted: 25 May 2022 08:04 PM PDT

A few months ago this forum was full of people complaining that android gaming was trash. Over the last few weeks we got medieval total war2, streets of rage 4, gun fire reborn. Not to mention recently being able to play every ps2 game ever. Things are really great.

I just think it's important to look for the good things.

    MMORPG Auto battler

    Posted: 26 May 2022 11:22 AM PDT

Hey all, I've been playing Era of Celistals and I really liked that concept of auto batteling, having offline automation time so your character levels up while you offline, playing with people to win bosses etc...

I am looking for this type of games, especially mmorpg and auto play a must. Recommendations will be appreciated :)

Looking for Idle/AFK vertical games for a busy father

    Posted: 26 May 2022 04:34 AM PDT

I don't want to interact with the game more than few times/day.

My favorite genres used to be RPGs/hack and slash. I don't like stuff like AFK Arena - it's not really AFK at all, after you go through the main quest it's like a full-time job and a cash-grab.

I've played Nonstop Knight for a while but the game lacks variety/strategy quickly.

I "finished" Antimatter Dimensions. Couldn't get into Melvor Idle or the Kitten's game for some reason.

Would just be nice to have a phone on the side when I'm working or checking up on my char after taking care of the kids.

    I'm a patient gamer too.

    thanks!

    Hi!

I have 2 emails. One for emails, and another for game.

But when I want to log into a game, it always choses the first one. How do I let the game uses 2nd email?

    Thank you.

[REQUEST] Game like Fat Princess or Happy Wars for Android

    Posted: 26 May 2022 12:43 PM PDT

    Single/Multiplayer: Any

    Genre: Any

    Online/Offline: Any

    Monetization/Cost: Any

    Portrait/Landscape: Any

Key Features: Fat Princess/Happy Wars, even Star Wars Battlefront, are games in which you choose a class, and fight against another team in a multi-player arena. Both teams usually have a lot of players (12 or more on each).

They are not MOBA, you don't select a hero, you select a CLASS.

Want to show my first experience on GameDev. This is the first game created 3 years ago and is on Google PlayStore. A Topdown Shooter with a lot of monsters on screen to destroy. The game is simple, you have to destroy them all... MonsterWay To Heaven.

[Request] Recommend me a Game Similar to EXOMiner

    Posted: 26 May 2022 10:03 AM PDT

I just recently started playing ExoMiner and while I am having a blast, I know it gets dull after a while from what I have heard.

Are there any other games that are a city/planet/town builder that are really good for android?

Must have good UI (easy to operate and understand), can be survival based or just "see how much money you can make" like ExoMiner. It can be free or cost a little bit of money, I just dont want a ridiculous amount of ads.

Thank in advance to anyone willing to help me out!

is/are there FUN android games with a GOOD level editor?

    Posted: 26 May 2022 08:43 AM PDT

Hi there, i am seeking for a fun android game with a good level editor, i hope that you are able to put a link to that game... Because I have been trying to find it for DAYS.

And if you need an apk link to the game then don't put the link (it's the rules of the rub reddit)

    Please don't suggest these games:

    OCO

    Geometry dash

    Mekorama

    Fancade

    Sandbox evolution

    (Any bad rip-offs)

(Games with level editors more complicated than metro maps)

    Please help me find it

The best right now: levelhead, tomb toad, block bros (levelhead and tomb toad aren't free but both are the best of the best)
