Cant change my graphics settings in Gangster Vegas/Gangstar 4 By Gameflot.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2022 05:16 AM PDT

The fact that phones from 2018, four years ago can run games of this caliber is absolutely awesome. Played on a Huawei P20Pro, with noticable hardware lag due to the nature of the game itself. We're not in kansas anymore. This is reason enough to buy a phone gamepad, for sure!

Anyone know of a good game with a simmilar way of obtaining "characters" to My singing monsters or Dragon city?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2022 04:56 PM PDT

I already own and really like MsM and I tried Dragon city, but the fighting aspects just didn't do it for me, does anyone know any other games with simmilar "breeding" mechanics, or something of that sort?

I've been trying to remember the name o a mobile game

    Posted: 04 Apr 2022 05:19 AM PDT

In that game you are a bomb specialist and you get in a sort of neo-nazi bunker the you have to get through many bosses slimes, chimeras, mutants, the main mechanic has placing bombs, you had to predict the movements of the enemy so it would hit the bomb.

A friend gifted me a Razer Kishi

    Posted: 04 Apr 2022 04:42 AM PDT

I'm having a hard time finding a use for it. I'm used to playing with a Bluetooth Xbox controller and the games I have don't work with the Kishi, like Rush Rally 2 and Sparklite

Also it wants me to use Xbox Game Pass. I own a few PC games that run through the Xbox app, being Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 5. Can I stream those from my PC?

Anyway I'm open to suggestions. Streaming apps, games, mapping software, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

To add - I get audio delay through my Samsung Bluetooth earbuds only when gaming with the Kishi. This didn't happen with the Xbox controller. Videos and such play fine when the Kishi is connected.

Games where I have the freedom to decorate the character or character's home? (NOT games like gardenscapes that only had like 3 design options)

    Posted: 04 Apr 2022 03:38 AM PDT

Hello guys, I like to have a game where outside its gameplay, I have a chance to pick out furniture and place them around as I see fit and it doesn't necessarily need to be part of the main games. Just plain cosmetics.

Any game recommendations with a LOT of skin options is ok too.

(And yes I already know Neko Atsume, Kawaii House and Pocket Love exists)

    Game similar to Lemonade Tycoon

    Posted: 03 Apr 2022 03:15 PM PDT

I have an itch for a tycoon game similar to Lemonade Tycoon. I'm not looking for world building simulation games, like Roller Coaster Tycoon or Project Highrise, but simpler strategy games. Lemonade Tycoon is actually the best example.

I'd prefer if the game is premium and not free to play.

    Thanks!

Which "cute girl gacha" game is best for a person who generally doesnt play mobile games?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2022 02:12 AM PDT

Im kinda looking for something to play on the move or such, mostly iv been reading or playing Hogwars Mystery but im looking for something new now and the play store is quite unrealiable in its recommendations.

I recently downloaded Girl Gun Café (I think thats what its called) and while its fine, im not sure if thats a good game to start with, not to mention the story is quite all over the place.

So id like some recommendations, in the same vein as the Girl Gun Café game, I dont know what they are called so hence the cute girl gacha in the title. I have heard of Blue Archive being popular recently, I also did play Genshin Impact but thats not something id play on the go or while commuting. Once upon a time I also played the Fire Emblem mobile game but sort of fell out of it, thats pretty much all my knowledge in this regard.

So Id like a game which looks nice, isnt overly complicated in systems, has at least a good story that you dont have to go out of your way into outside media to understand, good gameplay and has some cute anime girls.

    Thanks :)

Guys, should someone just make a r/tipofmyjoystickmobile already?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2022 05:23 AM PDT

Look, I don't have anything against the people asking to find games they can't remember, the problem is these posts are turning into the bulk of what this sub in general posts about. The problem with that is that each request requires specialised knowledge and most people can only help with one or two of these requests and have to ignore the rest. Usually because the posts are so vague:

' I played a sports simulator in some time ago on mobile. Can't remember anything else. Find it.'

    The comments will be like:

' What type of sport was it?' ' Sorry, cannot remember.'

' When did you play it?' ' Again, cannot remember. I THINK I played it after 1985 tho. Hope that helps!'

These posts usually end up with only 1 or 2 upvotes and no answer, cluttering up the sub and making it look dead. I mean there's nearly 250,000 people here but you wouldn't know it based off how the posts look.

There is also when the posts are ridiculously in detail:

' Hello guys! In 2009 I played a table tennis simulator. The protagonist father gets brutally murdered by the mob by not paying his gambling debts. The protag has no choice but to get revenge, through the art of ping-pong! After you beat the mobsters in a game of ping-pong, you get to savagely beat them to death with your racket. This carries on until level 666 where you beat the Devil and kill him too, thus restoring peace to the universe. So, someone find me this game please.'

These posts turn out a similar way, and usually they are not quite as entertaining to read.

As I said, 1 or 2 people can answer this question, but the rest of us just have to ignore it. And there are some posts that nobody can answer leaving to a lot of dead posts. I wouldn't mind if it was one or two a day, but it's the majority of posts here. My short reconnaissance of r/iosgaming tells me that they have the same problem.

When I joined this sub, I thought it would be:

Discussing recent news in the industry

    Discussing the good old days

People from this sub giving game reviews and suggestions, not just professional reviewers

Devs making announcements about their work

When I see those posts come once a couple weeks or so, the difference in quality is staggering. The community really comes out then, 1k or 2k upvotes, 500 comments, most of them being high quality. That's who we can be r/AndroidGaming, and we can be that every day. I think limiting these posts ( not banning) is a good place to start, maybe making an r/tipofmyjoystickmobile and telling people to post there. Thus, we unclutter this sub and we can actually start talking about Android gaming again, not just be a place for people to dump off vague game facts.

Android gaming isn't as good as it used to be, it doesn't have to be the same for this sub as well. Of course this would lower the posts on here daily overall, but the posts that remain would be of higher quality.

So... does anyone else agree with me? Or is this just a shitty idea?

    Any games like openttd?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2022 08:50 AM PDT

I love playing openttd on pc but not on mobile, because of controls and just don't like the "version" so much.

So, do you know any Android games that have similar but simply play style?

Best if it is: - no p2w - not much ads (some its ok) - free or very cheap - multiplayer (preferably)

    Thank in advance!

    Good android "premium" games?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2022 06:09 AM PDT

Looking for some good Android premium games.

I recently got Petal Crash, which was great - and it's made me think about getting some other games that aren't free to play. Games like the classic Puzzle Quest, or Game Dev Story.

What I'm looking for are games with:

    1) Zero gacha or IAPs. Only exception I'll consider are games which you download for free, then pay once for the FULL game and that's it. No consumable IAPs, even if "just cosmetic".

    2) must be playable fully in airplane mode or out of reception range (this is why I dropped Monster Hunter Stories).

    3) games that make for good mobile, short-session experiences. Like I know you can get things like KoToR but that's the sort of game with voice acting, dialogue; you want to have that on a TV.

    Has anyone got any ideas?

And better yet, has anyone got examples of blogs or news sites that cover this sort of thing?

ARPG that best meets this criteria?

    Posted: 03 Apr 2022 06:13 AM PDT

    I'm shopping for a new ARPG that most closely meets these preferences;

    • Not a team of heroes or playing as a party, I prefer controlling a single character
    • Good loot system with actual diverse drops from mobs or in chests (not just combining three of a lower tier to make it the next tier)
    • Not a 100% idle game, I want to play it. Some offline progression is fine
    • Any art style but if it is pixel I'd want your avatar to show the actual different skins of the weapon and armor you equipped
    • Bonus if there is a clan/guild system

The genre seems to be overwhelming so I'm hoping to get some ideas based on my preferences to try.
