    Hi everyone

    This is more of a post to possibly help others

    I have a stick running Android tv that I connected to my projector. The stick connects via Bluetooth to a UE boom speaker

    It was fine until a few days ago. I tried to watch some of the new shows on Disney and I would get an error message and wouldn't be able to watch Disney while the ue boom was connected

    My solution was going into the sound settings and changing the surround sound setting from Automatic to PCM and it now works again

    I have a Sony A80J and I want to completely turn off the TV (similiar to a restart function) whenever I press the power button on the remote instead of just having the TV go to standby/sleep. Is there some kind of settings or app to that?

    What's the best cheap 4K TV Box out there?

    So I have been trying to find a good cheap android tv box for a couple of days now and it's really confusing. Some have Netflix certification, some don't and other have other features (Dolby Vision, Atmos e.t.c). So I wanted to know if there is something cheaper than the mecool km2 that I can buy to use Netflix and run Plex/Kodi on 4k without any issues.

    We have a 3-year old Lenovo IdeaPad that isn't used for much other than streaming Hulu, Disney+ and Netflix. Can AndroidTV be installed as the OS? Can AndroidTV stream the "Big 3" streaming services?

    Google Chromecast TV navigation sound issue

    My Google Chromecast tv has an issue with system navigation sounds, it's working when I plugged in nonandroid tv; when I use it with my Haier Android tv, It will not work. Does anyone know the reasons?

    What is the point of a 4K television if it won't play 4K video properly?

    Panasonic GX655 Android TV. When playing 4K video on Netflix or the built-in media player, the TV loses its shit; lagging, subtitles go out of sync, audio goes out of sync, seeking isn't possible, etc... while 1080p video works fine.

    old mecool km9 box

    I have an old Chinese android tv box mecool km9. It doesn't work as expected because couple of years back google didnt add it to certified box. Also it stops responding often and the last software update by provider was back in 2018.

    I use it for youtube (watch from chrome) and Tubi app, sometimes read pdf files. Is there a way I can improve it? Installation a newer OS on it myself or I should buy a new android box. I think the hardware specs are good, it has 4 gb of ram and 64gb storage.

    Android TV Slow since Merge of Google TV

    I find my tv interface very slow since the merge of google tv with all the recommendations.

    My other tv i have nvidia shield with only apps showing, and it works super smooth, I really dont like how google has forced all this stuff on me.

    Thought I would ask here if anyone has found any solutions, Thinking about getting another Android TV Box as this UI is very sluggish.

    Is not it possible to use my laptop as a game controller for my Android TV?

    I looked up this in Google, no results.

    So I want to use my laptop as a game controller on my Android TV to play GeForce Now games.

    Both laptop and TV supports Bluetooth and WiFi of course. TV is connected to internet on Ethernet port.

    I actually have wireless Mouse and Keyboard set that I can pair with TV, but they won't appear as a gamepad, I guess? I should try.

    Is not it possible to use my laptop as a game controller for my Android TV?
