Posted: 01 Sep 2021 08:47 AM PDT I have Kodi installed on my Chromecast with Google TV and it seems every 1-2 months Kodi stops working and wont load up. Click on it, nothing happens. Un-install/Re-Install Kodi and it works...for about 1-2 months then it stops. I have re-installed and configured Kodi 4 times now and I think im ready to toss this. All other apps work fine. Anyone else have an issue where Kodi just stops working on the CCGTV device? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 06:08 PM PDT We have 2 rather inexpensive Android boxes. There are a couple streaming apps that are unavailable on them. Of course they are apps we'd like to have. So upgraded boxes are our choice. How can I be sure I won't run into the same problem with a new box. Is it what version of Android the box has? I am thinking Nvidia but are there other good options? Don't need the gaming aspect as he has a PS5. I apologize for being overwhelmed by everything online. I hope y'all don't mind helping. Crossing my fingers that I'm posting this in the right place. 😉 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:16 PM PDT Recently I bought a Polaroid TV LE430M2 and so far the support from the manufacturer is ZERO. Seems that the support for the TV division is third party and the emails and support phones listed on the official website for that third party support are dead and no longer functional in any region. The main support team washes its hands off the matter telling me they only tend to camera related issues and redirect me to the non-existent third party support team. I have given up on them and wouldn't recommend buying TVs from them at all (don't know about the cameras). I wonder if the community could help me solve some questions. Even though I've had Android phones, I feel like the TVs are kinda different (maybe its just the simplistic OS Polaroid installed on them) but well, here are my questions and thank you in advance if you help:

How can I mirror my android phone onto a smart TV using internet hotspot from the same smart phone? Posted: 31 Aug 2021 10:51 PM PDT Hi, I am new to this sub. I have a query regarding smartphone mirroring to a smart tv. Is it possible to mirror a android/iOS phone to a smart tv, without using any additional device like Chromecast. If yes, then do we require additional internet connection, like a wifi? Can that internet connection be provided from the same smartphone using hotspot? Please help. [link] [comments] |
Chromecast with google TV side loaded streaming apps Posted: 31 Aug 2021 04:16 PM PDT Hi All, I'm considering getting the new chromecast with google tv. I am subscribed to a number of streaming apps that aren't available in my country without a vpn such HBO Max and Hulu. If I side load these apps to my chromecast will the google tv still recommend shows from these apps but I won't be able to play the episode or moview without turning on the vpn or would they just not appear in my recommendations at all? Cheers [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Aug 2021 01:15 PM PDT Pretty much what the title states, the picture goes black for a very short period of time. Not sure if this is related to using an alternate launcher or not. I am using launcher manager with Sideload Channel Launcher 3 and have widgets enabled using adb. If I go back to the default launcher the section on the top when in search or 'for you' is scrolling right to left a mile a minute but when that's disabled it shouldn't matter unless that's running in the background somehow. It's not hot to the touch so I believe over heating is ruled out. If this is happening to anyone else I'd appreciate any feedback and possible causes/solutions. I hate to reset it but sans some advice maybe that's the only solution. Thanks [link] [comments] |

Posted: 31 Aug 2021 09:33 AM PDT Hi guys, newcomer to this sub reddit. I've plugged my CCWGTV through a USB C hub and I've got a Logitech K400+ wireless keyboard with USB dongle connected to it, but cursor nor the keyboard inputs aren't working however the USB flash drives are detected perfectly. The CCwGTV is using Gboard by default and I'm not sure how to configure it so that I can use my wireless keyboard as well I've searched through past threads but can't seem to find a solution. If there is, please help to link it in comments. Anyone here has experienced something similar and have a fix for this? Thanks in advance champs! FYI: CCwGTV = Chromecast with Google TV (just in case) [link] [comments] |
Automatic Time Zone greyed out Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:39 AM PDT I have Sony Bravia KDL-43W800F and my tv automatically changed it's time twice. I had to set the time manually because the automatic time zone is greyed out. I think it's happening after the the recent software update. Is there a way to fix it? [link] [comments] |
