South Korea bans Apple and Google payment system monopoly Posted: 01 Sep 2021 09:18 AM PDT The government of South Korea has decided to ban the payment monopoly system dictated by the tech giants Apple and Google. The policymakers at the South Korean Assembly have passed a bill labelled the "Anti-Google" with more than 180 Votes. The Bill terms the payment policy dictated by Google and Apple as a financial monopoly that takes a 30% cut from all app developers and forces them to use their payment portal. The decision comes as a piece of bold news from the country that has always allowed tech companies to grow and prosper. This move allows the app developers to bypass the commission fee and use other payment portals native to the country. Many senior officials feel that the move is of the first moves against such monopoly policy against tech companies in the world and will be emulated by several other countries all around the globe. If you are curious to know more, you can read the complete news piece. [link] [comments]

NetEase is planning to develop a mobile version of Naraka: Bladepoint Posted: 01 Sep 2021 08:54 AM PDT NetEase is currently planning to develop a mobile version of their recent hit Naraka: Bladepoint. The game is a 60-player action battle royale that offers insane mobility with parkour movement and gravity-defying actions, and the characters hold diverse skills. The Chinese giant confirmed it on their NetEase (NTES) Q2 2021 Earnings Call although no details are revealed yet. The game is currently available on PC only. "We will continue this positive trend by introducing more content from different cultures around the world and start to work on other formats of the game, including console games and mobile versions as we look to tap into these large market opportunities in China and abroad", said the CFO during the call. For more info, you can check the complete news, you can also see the game's official trailer. [link] [comments]

2 Grind 2 Furious secret grindables? Posted: 01 Sep 2021 09:36 AM PDT I can not find anywhere how to get the rest of the secrets! I have 2 more of the "Simon" follow the poster pattern ones. But it's the single click secret at the bottom of the classic grindables sets. I need 2 more! I did discover, if you go to your settings in game, the wench icon, and go to the bottom, Press them in the order: Center, left, right, left, center, right, right, center, left It makes your grindable huge! [REQUEST] Help on remembering name of game similar to PvZ with a candy theme. Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:34 PM PDT This was an old mobile game that was very similar to PvZ. I remember that instead of Wall-Nuts, there was Chocolate Nougat or something along those lines, and instead of peashooters, there were gumball machines. [link] [comments]

[REQUEST] ARPG’s without energy system? Posted: 31 Aug 2021 05:00 PM PDT Any rpgs without energy systems? I enjoy playing Genshin for a number of reasons. But dear GOD is it tedious trying to build new characters. And one of the biggest reasons for that is the resin system. To level them up, their talents up, and their weapons… It's all cost energy and currency. A LOT of energy and currency. And you know, I wouldn't be mad if they just gave me the chance to level up my characters without having to wait for days. Lol I know this is probably a dumb question, but please overlook that as I am not very familiar with what is on the App Store. I want the satisfaction of seeing my character become noticeably stronger at a decent rate, but not too quickly I fail to appreciate it. Want to feel I worked at it somewhat. Some of the most fun things to do when I am out of resin is to just join co op and see if I can help someone else, talk with them and stuff. So I would appreciate a system like that if possible. I like the exploration of Genshin, but I don't think I should expect to many open world games on mobile. Can we at least get some light puzzle elements? Also want fun defensive combat mechanics. Gotta at least have a dodge with I-frames to time. Also, I am discovering that my favorite playstyle in Genshin lately is bow. The 100% crit rate from shots on weak spots is fun… Though I am not sure how many movies games would even work with that, though now that I think of it FPS work on mobile. [link] [comments]
