Posted: 14 Oct 2021 03:04 AM PDT Hi guys, just wanted to convey out to community, Amaze File Manager is now available on Android TV. It's a bit late to party but, better late than never ;) Feedback is much appreciated. For those of you who don't know, Amaze is an open source material design file manager for android, been under dev since 2014. Hope you'll consider it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amaze.filemanager&hl=en_IN&gl=US [link] [comments] |
Good android TV with a fully 4k interface? Posted: 14 Oct 2021 04:32 AM PDT Does this exist? I do really like my 2019 Shield Pro but it's honestly getting on my nerves a bit, I use it a lot for displaying Spotify, looking through Plex etc. It looks awful in 1080p when you are used to in 4K. Is there an android tv that has this? I really liked the apple TV having 4K HDR throughout the UI. It was a massive difference [link] [comments] |
TCL S615 40" Full HD Android TV Posted: 14 Oct 2021 03:28 AM PDT Hello guys. Can someone tell me if this is a good buy? Please please. Thank you. I'll only use it in the bedroom like for netflix. [link] [comments] |
Sony Bravia XH9096 and Button Mapper constant trasmitting issue Posted: 14 Oct 2021 12:44 AM PDT I'm using this useful app with my Bravia XH9096 (X900H in US). I've mapped the color buttons on the remote (Red=Youtube, Yellow=Plex, Blue=Kodi) and they work fine but... I noticed that once i tap the button i can see the remote signal constantly transmitting to the television non-stop. I have to tap any other non-mapped button just to get the transmission to stop. Is there a way to fix it? [link] [comments] |
Automating an Android TV driven projector (turn on, play something specific, etc) Posted: 13 Oct 2021 02:46 PM PDT I am wondering if anyone has successfully automated a projector driven by Android TV (I am using 10.0). I am looking to be able to turn the projector on at a certain time and have it start playing a specific file off a USB drive plugged in. Then to turn off at a certain time. Rinse and repeat. To make sense of it, it is for Halloween and I am looking to play a series of clips I combined into a single MPEG formatted file. I have multiple automation platforms I can control things with, including Vera/Ezlo hubs (Z-Wave/Zigbee/Lua script for everything else on Wi-Fi), Home Assistant, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Any thought? :) [link] [comments] |
Screen record/Screen capture android tv in 4k Posted: 13 Oct 2021 06:35 PM PDT I have a shield tv pro 2019, i want to record some moments from 4k movies in kodi and i've tried NVIDIA share but it's only up to 1080p. Does anyone know if it's possible to screen record in 4k without any additional hardware? Thanks in advance [link] [comments] |
I messed up - Need advice on android boxes Posted: 13 Oct 2021 01:59 PM PDT So I bought a Roku Ultra stupidly thinking I would be able to sideload apps... Anyways, I decided to buy it in the first place because it supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and 4K HDR and I can connect my headphones into the controller (and I wanted to sideload...). I'm looking for an android box that supports all of those things and obviously lets me sideload stuff, are there any with such features? For the headphones either wired or Bluetooth works, I just want to find something good! Really hoping someone can help me out here, you're my last hope!! I can't find any on Google or maybe I just don't know how to use it but yeah... Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to help Also English is not my first language so let me know if you need clarification on anything that I said, it may be hard to understand what I'm trying to say Edit: I had an epiphany and learned how to Google out of nowhere. I found that the Fire TV Stick 4K Max those features, I think. Any thoughts? [link] [comments] |
