    Android Gaming Worthy casual games?

    Android Gaming Worthy casual games?

    Worthy casual games?

    Posted: 06 Sep 2021 05:27 AM PDT

I've some issues with the current playstore games, they're blunt, non interesting.
Looking for a game that is fun to play, but not a grindfest.
    - non P2W
    - keeps you occupied, and you're not deleting it after 5 minutes or so (this is my biggest issue atm, nothing sucks me in to spend time playing it)
    - can be idle, i don't really care

FPS, Archero, BrawlStars Clash of Clans and other genres like that are off.

Best paid Tower Defense games besides Bloons?

    Posted: 06 Sep 2021 11:17 AM PDT

Looking for something without transactions or wait periods, so the paid version should be the full game. I've also played Bloons lots so I want to try something new.

Weekly 'What's Have You Been Playing?' thread - 08/06

    Posted: 06 Sep 2021 08:34 AM PDT

This weekly thread is for discussing the games we are playing this week! List any games you are playing and include extra information like what the game is about and why you are enjoying it.

Make sure to provide a link the Google Play Store page when suggesting games. Play Store Link Bot can be used to make this easier. To use the Play Store Links Bot simply put the following in your comment:

    linkme: nameOfGame, nameOfSecondGame, nameOfThirdGame

And heck, I messed up the title, just pretend it says 09/06

People hating on devs for accessing file•storage has ruined the potential for open•world RPGs on phones.

    Posted: 06 Sep 2021 11:29 AM PDT

On the PC, I love playing Skyrim.

Also, as the game is huge, I alwsys backup my save•files.

Then I found Naroth on the PlayStore, which is a free first•person•view open•world RPG. It has no ads, and no in'app•purchases.

But, I had to reset my phone. I tried to find a way to backup my save, and there was no way.

I emailed the dev, and he said:

"I used to do that, but people awarded me with 1•star, as they think the app is spying on them".

So, games will have to put their saves internally, which can't be backed•up.

Or maybe they will have to store their save on a server, which costs money, and they will put in ads and microtransactions, which sucks.

[REQUEST] Best alternative to Zombie Cafe on IOS?

    Posted: 06 Sep 2021 02:01 AM PDT

Any got anything similar but for Android? For those who don't know, it's just a cafe simulator that had some quirks with zombies. A good, non-microtransation based cafe game would be good. Also, while we are here; A game like Spongebob: Krusty Cook-Off/Papa's Pizzeria/etc but not full of micros Thanks.

[REQUEST] What should I buy with £7 G reward points?

    Posted: 06 Sep 2021 07:29 AM PDT

I've recently returned to Android gaming with a 2021 Fire 10+ after using an iPad since 2018 and I've around £7 in points which will partly expire next week. Is there any must haves released in the last few years I should take a look at? No FPS, horror, gacha mechanics/F2P bs, multiplayer, or constant online connection requirements (as mine sucks), and I play in bed so simple controls only. For reference the few games I have installed again onto the new tablet are

    • Slay The Spire
    • Solitairica
    • Night of the Full Moon
    • Cultist Simulator
    • Plague Inc.

Excessive daily challenges and in game cash shop spam

    Posted: 05 Sep 2021 08:01 PM PDT

Can devs cut back on these spamming in-game pop ups for th cash shop and all th we grinds.

Looking at COD mobile specifically, you log in and you have 3-4 screens to close telling you to buy this skin or gun or pack.

Also don't miss out on this limited edition deal on coins

Also make sure to buy this battle pass

Also look at this lootbox style gambling for a specific skin, gun etc

Oh and don't forget to complete the daily achievement for rewards

Also don't forget the seasonal achievements

    Or the featured achievements

Or the current limited edition daily/weekly achievements

Click this menu, then another menu, then click the tab, then make sure you collect the reward.

So many screens and menus to jump through, so much stuff just thrown in your face. I know other games so stuff like this to and it makes such a mess of the UI. The gameplay itself is fun to play but damn do they force these this stuff on you, so frustrating.
